LorenOA76, have you checked https://forums.scopeusers.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=30641 ? Not seeing them up for sale on Stephen's website, http://www.track0.com/wavelength/devices.html , and telling from one old reply from Wavelength to a similar thread here on this forum i'm *guessing* it'd be cool t...

Re: Patchbays

I think, like many 3rd-party mixing devices and their buses/sends, these patchbays have, under the hood, all connections connected all the time . That makes these devices way more inefficient compared to stock CW/SC devices, which seem to dynamically make the connection as selected by the user. Wha...

Re: Security & Privacy with technology in (2018 and beyond)

The EFF has a much more extensive version on Facebook's VPN, their abuse, and Facebook getting banned even from Apple's Enterprise Developer program. Every year, they get fined billions in the EU alone, yet so many sheep are drawn in to their Apps, getting seduced by some generic Push Notifications ...

Check my post there on ADAT cables - from my own experience, some which to get and which certainly not.

Hope this saves you some more trouble :)

Re: WTB ADAT & Z-Link expansion board

Hoi Alan! Firstly, welcome to the board! :) Telling from your gear list, your Pulsar card is a Pulsar1 (4 DSP). The ADAT & Z-Link IO board is a daughterboard. Such daughterboards make for the IO on 2nd generation hardware, namely Scope and Pulsar2, 14/15 and 6 DSP respectively. As such, the Z-Link b...

No such thing here. Granted, old Scope OS 5 on 32bit XP. Don't remember such on previous OS versions either. So, for what OS and Scope OS versions would these clickey wave drivers be?

Re: Modular shell single dsp

Works neatly :)

Like in SDK, I did move anything using sync DSP or not phase-critical (controls and modulators for example) out of that Single DSP Shell to another 'utility' patch to easy the DSP loads. Right, this is PCI cards, not Xite.

Re: Pulsar 2 card make clicking sound only in cold weather

Hi, I suspect some condensation (?) near the connectors, when the temperature changes. Recently, I've moved to "the shed" behind the house (ok, fancy shed), so I do take care to keep temperature somewhat sensible there during days/weeks that I'm working there, also overnight. Never get it too cold, ...

Re: ADAT to Scope PCI to Xite ADAT

the root question of this topic—how much latency does ADAT add? A few samples... The old planetz Pulsar pages have a chart, and test procedure that lead to that chart. tl;dr: it was 9 samples in the test. This probably changed with hardware upgrades, so if anyone's interested to update for later DS...

Re: Phasefix & Phasefix X

Don't make the patch too big! And some will complain "only x% DSP load and cards are full, keep getting Reload! Reload! messages".

Btw, where's that shell? :D
