Re: Synth died from the heat

As for shipping anything fragile: If it's not too heavy to throw, it will get thrown. So ship in a box that can withstand some shocks, with your synth well suspended in foam/wrap/..

And may your synthie return home quick - and operational :)

Re: AtomSessions - Sinthesizer [NEW ALBUM]

Yeah, wavesequencing is missing from any SCOPE synth. The Wave ProWave allows envelope controlled sequencing, and the light wave does Vector synthesis, but a sequence of samples would be great in SCOPE. A future idea, maybe ;) http://www.adern.com/manuals/flexor/reference/granular/granular_seq.htm

That might have been true some years ago. Meanwhile, Behringer bought Midas, TC Electronics, Tannoy, Klark Teknik, Turbosound,... It's a gigantic company, with all that knowhow...

Re: fft dsp module request

I had a look at Reaktor's FFT modules: the do what I want to do, but they are slow. My goal is, having a delay less than 20ms, which should be possible with a Shark. I've been looking at this many years ago, and tbh, it was way slow indeed. Much more slow even on Scope than on native. This is why t...

Also, Flexor has pitch2cv, which works on monophonic material: http://www.adern.com/manuals/flexor/ref ... tch2cv.htm .

Re: Synthesizeracademy.com

Syntorial lets you play with a synth to recreate the sound from a 'hidden patch', starting with the most basic patch - one knob to turn.

R.I.P, Pierre Boulez. Boulez was mostly known for his work as composer and director in the style of Zappa or Cage. In the 70ies, he co-pioneered electronical experimental music. Boulez also founded, after talks with Pompidou, IRCAM, "Institut de Recherche et Coordination Acoustique/Musique" The famo...

Re: Scope Windows are hidden&terms outside of the Monitor

I remember having the same from time to time, when switching monitors. If I remember correctly, setting to a different resolution (and later, back) with Scope OS open would tell Scope about the change, and every window would come show on that 'new resolution' display.

Re: LMMS and scope

browsing through the plugins it looks like they are back from 2000. I don't know who created them. https://github.com/LMMS/lmms/graphs/contributors lists LMMS contributors, but I guess you knew that. And that LMMS doesn't create plugins. For UI, LV2 can provide its own UI, LADSPA depends on the hos...

don't have a home server running somewhere? git ftw, makes a great Time Machine right there. Or look into netatalk, an open Time Machine drop-in replacement.

John, The z has meant so much to many, and to myself! What a fantastic community you have helped build. The initial Pulsar pages, blog-style list of your own and submitted posts, I remember for their tips, tricks and the IO latency test. Later you added a forum which thrived on this flexible DSP car...
