Re: DSP Assignment.

RA, it’s good to have you back. I’m glad you have recovered from your experience. I ageee wholeheartedly with your sentiment about you racks. They are top-notch pure quality and really show off the Scope platform! Your compressors as well……..actually all of your devices are awesome. I hope the best ...

Re: Can someone help me fatten up Alaska ?

Well I don't have a spare 5 large in my back pocket ATM. So I guess I'll play with Arturia SEMv, Little Labs Voice Of God and Synapse OBsession RE in meantime. You would think Scope could get close as I've heard some fat boy tones dripping out of Dawman's Solaris which use same DSP as Scope @96Khz....

Re: Can someone help me fatten up Alaska ?

Dante; I know that which you seek my friend……the Holy Fatness of synthesizers! Firstly, as a 3yr proud owner of a Rev2, I can honestly tell you that synth will not fulfill your needs. That synth excels at super excellent strings and pads that modulate and evolve like a mf and will fill your wall of ...

Re: Software Modulars

I’ve fiddled with the miRack on the iPad which is a good way to practice on the road but quite frankly there are loads of other really interesting apps. On the home computer the VCV and CA Voltage Modular seem well designed but when I’ve got Scope Modular and Hardware Eurorack sitting right there I ...

Re: Scope installation!

Then there should be a 'Bargain Basement' - half price or less for stuff requiring legacy runtime environments - e.g. like plugs that only work reliably on 32 bit, Win7 or XP and/or PCI cards. The bargain basement stuff would come without official support at buyers risk (hence the cheap price). I t...

Anyway,-
when my XITE-1 might fail one day,- repair will be worth the trouble when considering the price for a new unit then.

Re: Starlab

Sounds nice, looks playable, and has CV control over essential parameters. Definitely a contender. Don't forget to leave some room in your rack for a Lightpipe/CV interface to control this with Scope and Bitwig. Great advise. I think I will start out with this. https://www.sweetwater.com/store/deta...

Starlab

I’ve really tried hard to stay away from the Euro-crack scene lest it consume what little space I have left, but this thing sounds exceptionally good to me. Damn you Strymon! https://www.strymon.net/product/starlab/ Scroll down to the bottom to the video of the developer/programmer Pete Celi going t...

Re: Calling all Ableton Live Users

Dante; I’ve just recently (April) transitioned from Reaper to Ableton. I’m not an expert in either one of those DAWs but I can send you some notes if you can wait until the end of next week when I am at home. I wasn’t unhappy with Reaper but there were some things that Ableton does a lot better (wel...

Re: Finally. A MIDI Controlled Phaser From Hell

I wonder if it will sound anything like the Mutron Biphase? Not really sure if it's designed with similar specs. I've combined a TC Helix with a Horizont and made it sound pretty darn good. The Helix has USB for loading presets but I haven't really used it - the settings are pretty simple to tweak. ...
