Re: MIDI router tool
Anyone having any issues opening this due to updated Winblows. When I installed the Microsoft Visual Studio c++ redistributable 2013 edition it started working again. (was getting a MSVCR120.dll missing error)
It was a brand new install

Re: BNC sync Xite-1 Scope 7
ok, v7 and v5.1 for XITE use the exact same method of enabling sync, but both did not really work as they should. because of this, the swapping of files in v5.1 was used. v7 does not have the work-around, it only works in one direction. the easy thing is to use ADAT or AES/EBU with the XITE. bnc is...

Re: BNC sync Xite-1 Scope 7
also "sync" files are unrelated to this issue. i would suggest users to not mess with the installation and not change and swap files manually. if bnc does not work due to a bug tell to support and use adat or spdif for wordclock. messing with the installation files can drive you crazy whe...

Re: BNC sync Xite-1 Scope 7
Well right now I'm done fiddling with it since I accomplished my goal of getting it to work and as long as I don't run into any problems then I'll leave it as such. I'm a weeks worth of work behind in my reinstallation so I have to move on. Later on when I have my full computer stuffed in it's hole,...

BNC sync Xite-1 Scope 7
Ok so here is some info for you Bud. (figured I'd start a new discussion thread for this) Yesterday I decided to do a complete reinstall of Windows 10 on my system. A couple of legacy installs had caused it to crash and when I used System Restore, then Windows started doing the funky chicken  ...

Re: XITE-1 PC CONFIGURATION REFERENCE
hmm, that is a lot of food for thought. Thanks for that info Bud. My documentation says my M.2 shares with a SATA port and disables it when a drive is present. So I have to use the other ones which is not a problem unless I have a lot of drives. The TRIM function is definitely concerning but if I'm ...

Re: XITE-1 PC CONFIGURATION REFERENCE
So I guess based on that info: The first 1x PCIe slot that I used must have been sharing resources with the video card right next to it because it was NOT going to synch up with the BNC. After I moved it to the 3rd 1x PCIe slot it has worked perfectly. But just to point out on my motherboard the fir...

Re: XITE-1 PC CONFIGURATION REFERENCE
Hey Bud. Not sure about the BNC. I think it is broken if you want to use the Xite as a master clock. Mine seems to work in slave and yes it is Scope 7. Excellent news !!! I didn´t try because I might have misunderstood somewhere here @PlanetZ some time ago. Now I will, because I want all the digita...

Re: XITE-1 PC CONFIGURATION REFERENCE
Hey Jimmy HNY! Not sure if the plugs I have would really test the CPU cores. (AAS,Arturia, MusicLab, Pianoteq, PA subscription bundle,AIR) On one of Faxi's VSTi I made it hit 100% pretty easily. I think it was the Pathfinder WT but his later VSTi instruments basically made that one obsolete. Probabl...

Hey Bud. Not sure about the BNC. I think it is broken if you want to use the Xite as a master clock. Mine seems to work in slave and yes it is Scope 7. Thought about the HDMI cable as the source of noise, I may try that before I shove it into it's final resting place for a decade hopefully. I ordere...

Re: XITE-1 PC CONFIGURATION REFERENCE
Here are the specs on my new computer. (very similar to Katano's build) Still testing but appears to be working just fine with Xite-1. The only snag was when I put the Xite-1 PCIe card in 1X slot #1, the BNC would not sync to the master clock. When I moved it to 1X slot #3 it synced up just nicely. ...

Re: Production tutorials by John Amolochitis (SAL)
If anyone is on the fence about doing this, I can vouch for John, he is a genius. Go get your PhD in Scope. It is rare to find someone of this caliber to offer an apprenticeship for this cheap. (And don't worry if you think you are not worthy enough, I'll let you borrow my dunce cap  ) Hi John,...

Re: Pareiq - 1-8 band PEQ
I am not an EQ guy so with the probability of making the sound worse, I usually just leave it alone. Last night I was trying this EQ out for the first time and there was a noticeable increase to the clarity of the sound. (just piano playing) I doubt that luck would have me accidently dialing in the ...
