Have you told Cubase to record in 24 bit? Default is 16 bit

Cubase:
Project -> Project Setup -> Record Format

Just a thought.... :)

Wow... I can't believe i missed this. I feel like an idiot. It's recording in 24 bit now. :P

Ok, I deleted the inputs and outputs in the VST connections and made new ones. It says that those are 24 bit, but for some reason it is still recording in 16. :-?
I'm absolutely positive I'm using ASIO SCOPE. In the Devices Setup, it recognizes the 24 bit ASIO under the Inputs and Outputs.

I've tried closing and reopening Cubase. If I record something,then open the Pool and look at a recorded file, it still says that its 16 bit. but if I understand what your saying, even though it says this its 16 bit, it really is 24?

Cubase and ASIO 24 bit

I've been having problems getting Cubase to record from ASIO in 24 bit. When I setup the ASIO drivers in Cubase, I use SCOPE ASIO. It finds the 24 bit ASIO and if I connect them, the self test works. Now, whenever I record something in Cubase, it still says the recording is 16 bit, even though I was ...
