Re: MODULES #Spielraum

Off topic Moving beyond that....well I'm open to anyone else that wants to build something for our community. :) I can do something like that in Wordpress in no time, including a front end submission/upload form. I became good at that this year :-) example: not very well done but sufficient for my o...

Re: ADA8200

there is not much to understand: - don't rush purchases, take the time to learn and use what you have, and progress slowly when needs appear rather than investing for things that don't exist yet :-) I have the ADA8200 and it is not useable directly with CV. you will need a converter to convert into ...

Re: [Video] Fun with Prodyssey CV, Eurorack, Kron

KrOn II is really cool and light on DSP and screen estate. KrOn "I" is being updated too: it now includes latency free Quad modulator, allowing to easily do 64 steps (technically it can manage 128 steps). It has also received the new randoms modes from KrOn II today... all working good so far. To an...

Re: MODULES #Spielraum

man, i don't want this information, now weird images in my head.... :-) no i mean a database that can be filtered. Like if you could filter the threads of the "device" by device type (effect, synth or else). It can be done easily in wordpress with user uploads and front end post editing. Then people...

Re: ADA8200

and in the CV-to-Audio direction, you will need to deal with latency of your hardware based modulations converted into ASIO signals (unless you modulate/trigger stuff in scope in real time). In the Audio-to-CV direction (Scope to CV) you still need to delay a few tracks in your DAW , such as rythms ...

Re: ADA8200

the issue is not scope which can send signal that are CV compatible (through a converter of DC coupled audio). The issue is calibration of different converter / oscillators/ gear etc. For example, a DC coupled audio interface (or a eurorack DC coupled mixing module) does not mean it is 1V/Oct: will ...

Re: SC Prodyssey CV

Here is the video tweaking the Prodyssey CV with an external modulator, and an eurorack oscillator as extra-audio input (goes to the prodyssey filter). Everything is "mixed" inside Prodyssey CV, using the chorus and delay Fx. No added stuff. --------> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g2K_S65N8Mc don'...

Re: Bass amps / plug ins designed for bass guitar black box 2

Just realized the Bass T1 was freeware and was avalaible on planetZ downloads rather than on the BB2 pack. so I can attach it here. With the T2 you can disable comp on both Hi and/or Low frquencies, I thinks that's the main difference in addition to the display (probably some fine tuning here and th...

Re: Bass amps / plug ins designed for bass guitar black box 2

The Dragons are drive/distortion, made for guitar. But why not try them with bass :-) They contain a lot of distortion dedicated to bass frequencies, so it could give nice results on bass. Beware it is very loud. By the way, I think both devices are mono (I got confused by the double comp vumeters f...

Re: Bass amps / plug ins designed for bass guitar black box 2

The BassT devices are effects which includes 2 compressors placed after a frequency crossfader. it allows to compress differently the lower and higher frequencies. The compressor Ratio is "relative to the other frequency (if bass comp ratio is high, then hi comp is low, and vice versa). It pretty ea...

SC Prodyssey CV

In case you have missed it, the "Prodyssey CV" has been released a few days ago. S|C Prodyssey CV uses the same key as the "classic" Prodyssey and is delivered with it. So it is "free for all with a Prodyssey activation key". It is compatible with presets from the "classic" version (factory presets ...

Re: Scope/XITE > Exception

idea: . try installing the latest ms visual studio for your system from microsoft website. (google ms visual studio redistributable).
reason: your xite seems to work fine, and i think it is something I also did when i had my asio issues. I don't remmeber if i did it after scope install or before...

Re: Scope/XITE > Exception

i think scope 7 is optimized for win 10.
i don't think you can have scope 7 and scope 5.1 toghether. they don't use the same drivers and they might conflict .

Re: Scope/XITE > Exception

have you tried installing scope again ? (over itself) ? something similar with asio happened when i installed a device that required a ms visual studio update. after install, i lost asio (but all was looking normal in studio one etc). then reinstalled scope over itself (5.1 in my case). then it work...

Re: Scope/XITE > Exception

switch off xite, unplug the power cable from the unit a few seconds, then replug. then restart pc and xite as usual. of course you do this securely (switch xite off, switch pc off etc). . nb: you must unplug the power from the unit. unplugging the power supply from your electricity while leaving it ...
