Re: Getting back on Scope... or not?
I've decided to sell all my Creamware gear after I bought a boatload of software from IK Multimedia's 25 year group buy last week. I think the 200+ GB of SampleTank5 samples and Amplitube5, T-RackS5 and other virtual gear will keep me entertained for the next few years. https://forums.scopeusers.com...

FS: 1x15DSP, 4x6DSP, 1x3DSP cards etc.
I just bought a truckload of IK Multimedia stuff from their 25 year group buy campaign (buy 1 product, get 24 free, actually ended up buying two and now I'm drowning in software) and now I'm thinking about getting rid of all (or at least part) of my Creamware gear. If you live in EU and you're looki...

Re: Scope 4 and 4.5 for Luna and Pulsar 1 cards
Likewise I have an older 15DSP card and 2 newer 6DSP cards and just bought Scope v7 license for the 15DSP cards and one of the 6DSP cards was set as the master automatically.

Re: Asus Prim B460 Plus comments??
I'd clone the old SSD to new and most likely faster SSD and keep the old one as backup in case something goes wrong.

Re: Getting back on Scope... or not?
It's been a long journey back to ScopeLand but now I think I have all the bits and pieces together after I found a silent AMD HD 5450 display card for the DAW machine yesterday. Now I have two machines, one with Win10 + Scope V7 (bought the license yesterday) running DAWs containing a 15 dsp card an...

Re: Getting back on Scope... or not?
If you ever need to break a rock use your scope card. ;) I had to reinstall Windows last night and after that when I run the Scope V7 installer it didn't at any point show me the registration screen so I could have entered the temporary scope key. Despite of that and to my surprise the Scope environ...

Re: Getting back on Scope... or not?
In my case the one in the extension board slot was assigned as master.

Re: Getting back on Scope... or not?
Buffered i/o did the trick and now Mixbus plays nicely with Scope V7. To have 3 PCI slots on board without the flimsy PCI-E-to-PCI extension board (which seems to work pretty well to my surprise) I bought a 'new' Asus P8p67 B3 rev 3.1 motherboard that came with i5 2500K processor, a Coolermaster cpu...

Re: Getting back on Scope... or not?
Tried the ASIO Link Pro wrapper mentioned earlier in this thread between the Scope ASIO driver and Mixbus and now the audio flows between Mixbus and Scope environment. No the most prettiest solution, but if it works then it's fine by me. Some time a go I hauled home my old Behringer DDX3216 digital ...

Re: Getting back on Scope... or not?
After frustrating struggle to get the Ryzen 2700 / B450 mobo / M-Audio Lightbridge communicate reliably over ADAT lightpipes with Pulsar cards on the old XP machine I was almost ready give up but then I got a c. 10 year old computer (i7 2600K / P8H67M Pro) free of charge from a friend of mine and de...

As far as I know none of the boards with B450/B550 chipsets have any PCI slots.

Re: Getting back on Scope... or not?
I read that thread too but that case was bit different when there were a couple of PCI slot on the mobo and the extender was used to add a few more to the setup. BTW The ASIOLink Pro is an amazing piece of software. Everybody with an interest in computer audio in Windows should take a look at it. Un...

Re: Getting back on Scope... or not?
Unfortunately I haven't been able to get the LightBridge interface to work in Win10 which is not surprising when the device is not officially supported in Win10. But I found something that is even better. An amazing application named ASIOLink Pro that I can use to pass 16 channels of audio over netw...

Re: Getting back on Scope... or not?
Today I feel lucky ;) I just made a deal to trade in my EHX Mel9 pedal that I haven't used in two years for a M-AUDIO Lightbridge FW interface with 4 ADAT inputs and outputs. Now I can have up to 32 channels @48kHz (or 16 @96kHz if I ever need to go higher than 48kHz) of audio traveling between my D...

Re: Getting back on Scope... or not?
I got three 6dsp cards working in Scope 5.0 on this XP machine. I need to modify the case a bit to accommodate the big 15dsp card. I need to install Reaper and do some testing with these three cards to see how stable this system is and the try to fit the big card in case. Is there any benefits to ha...

Re: Getting back on Scope... or not?
There's a M-Audio LightBridge 34/36 for sale nearby and the seller is asking 210 euros for it. Maybe I should buy it and use it to connect 16 channels of audio from my main PC to and from the vintage pc with my scope cards via ADAT. My main DAW Harrison Mixbus 32c don't seem to work with Scope ADAT ...

Re: Getting back on Scope... or not?
Not looking too good. I can only get one 6DSP card to work at a time and even that's totally unreliable. "Time out waiting for acknowlegement from DSP X" is the most common error message. I found an old PC with XP Pro for sale locally at €100 so I'll fetch it tonight and I'll use it to see...

Re: Getting back on Scope... or not?
Managed to get the second card to seat properly too after sawing off a larger chunk of plastic from the connector. Not pretty, but seems to work ok. Now waiting for temporary keys to verify the installation. Keep fingers crossed!
