The Yamaha FC-7 foot controller has one small difference over most 'standard' foot controllers. Be careful when you open the case that you catch what's rattling around inside. It may be a SMD component that's fallen off the board - a small capacitor fir example. Also you may void your warranty ( if it's worth anything at all ) so be careful how much of the truth you tell the dealer ...

Thannks for your reply Shayne. I have tried the minimax with two Win2000 machines, the same thing happens with both. There is an RTF file with the Minimax software which clearly states Win XP / 2000 , I guess it may be a typing error !
