MasterVerb test with aspect of PCI-latency. Pink noise mono input on all MasterVerbs. Wet output levels (dry mute) in meterbridge (running check).

First System:
Board: Gigabyte G41M-Combo (Northbridge: Intel G41 rev. A3, Southbridge: Intel 82801GB (ICH7/R) rev. A1)
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 ...

Bit exact (difference: -180 dB):
- Inverter Stereo
- Output Swap
- MS-Encoder -> discrete MS-Decoder (Inverter Stereo -> MIX2S)

Not bit exact:
- Input Swap (difference: -128 dB)
- MS-Encoder -> MS-Matrix (difference: -168 dB)

Anyway, delay compensation could be a very usefull feature in "Parallel Effects". Maybe in future? :D

I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to do here, but you mentioned having effects in parallel. The Scope mixer insert slots are serial, yes, but if you want parallel, you can try my Parallel Effects rack I made a few years ago. It'll plug into an insert slot and give you multiple parallel ...

1. well tempered scales (i.e. Werckmeister's 'Correct' #1 (1/4 - comma) (1691) or Kirnberger's 1/2 - Comma (Irregular, 1771)),

2. meantone scales (i.e. Aron's 1/4 Syntonic Comma Meantone - equal beating) or

3. just intonation (i.e. Malcolm's Monochord)?

I loaded all *.sts files from HDD. So I think the problem is not loading via ASPI from AKAI-CD.

I posted the problem in a bug-report to SC. )

first I tried to switch ACPI off - no change.

Then I checked my memory timings in BIOS. I set it to lowest possible values - no change.

Then I checked my RAM with Memtest86+ (http://www.memtest.org/). It runned all the night long and report no errors!

i have the problem too. Just STS 2000P will load sometimes. Loading STS 3000, 4000, 5000 cause crash of SFP. I am running CW Scope board (v 1.3, 14 dsp) with Scope v4.5 under win2ksp4.

Parameter value (bank##: 0-127) must be given to CC32 (BankSelLSB) and not to
CC00 (BankSelMSB), like with all my other synths. If CC00 gets the value all
ProgChanges (PC) following will be ignored.

i'm using cubase vst 5.1 for midi arrangements. if i sent a progchange from a midi-part, then the synth will do it in startup bank of the *.pre-file. if the progchange followed a bankselect (CC0, CC32), the synth changes nothing.

there are presets organized in several banks in the preset list. Is it possible to select the desired bank via MIDI CC (CC0XX, CC32XX, ProgChangeXX) by the sequencer?

Any help and advice on the options I have will be appreciated...
