Re: Record KICKME goes Off-Click
I'm starting to think that the problem is caused by Midi Port Filter,as you stated before... i noticed that the only Creamware midi in/out that works is the [emulated] ones, the other two (not emulated) are alle muted ! I checked the Midi Devices settings in Cub,and they're activated... uhmmm from wh...

Re: Record KICKME goes Off-Click
the notes were inserted manually with snap on,so they're perfectly alligned with the "lines" . Also the clip in arrange window is created with bar snap, and locators are placed well

Re: Record KICKME goes Off-Click
Exactly the downbeat...i found the problem. It's strange... the midi timing goes off if you got two separates midi events in cubase...if i glue them together the timing becomes correct,,if there's a line that separates for example 2 midi loops, the downbeat will go off.Strange stuff ! Or not?? BTW th...

Re: Record KICKME goes Off-Click
http://s1.xzshare.com/1042078534-off_click_record.mp3 this explains better maybe It is Cubase SX3 and i'm using with the CREAMWARE EMULATION PORT,yes i applied the midiport filter because i had bad record timing in Cubase. Now the timing into cubase itself its perfect, just sending notes back and for...

Record KICKME goes Off-Click
Hi guys ,I've got this problem : I program a MIDI pattern from cubase, send it to KICKME device, then into ASIO Dest (record the audio result into cubase) Midi Seq > KickMe > ASIO dest Problem is that the result is Off-Click (does this term exists ? :) ) It sounds OFF click both in the SFP mixer monit...

Re: Loop extract from Sample CD's
With Cubase ,i usually resize my loop by "hand" (of course deselecting the snap option). Once you got a nice cut,you can select your audio part and by pressing P on the keyboard, your L and R locators will adapt to the audio part size. Activate the loop on the transport bar and you're set. ...

Re: Loop extract from Sample CD's
Hey m8 ,SONY ACID calculate your loop time BPMs automatically, and then if you don't like the results you fine-tune it . You can also change loop pitch instantly w/o time stretching.
For loops,i can't think of a better prog !

Re: TooL Lateralus Synth Sound
HOLY S*** !!!! :o That is crazy stuff For the other sound i found that it could be a moog ,i heard a similar sound on Solaris demo page ..the n.8 (moog sweep) has a similar quality i think ? Btw is not only the sound itself that i love so much, its also the grain of sound...so organic.. for those who...

Re: How should you use creamware stuff?
yep, done that :D prob was that it just recorded the straight signal without the aux effects ! But now I put the effects before the asio dest instead of the aux and it works .. don't monitor the software. monitor Scope. you can listen to the sequencer by connecting the asio source to a stereo channel...

Re: How should you use creamware stuff?
Yeah i'm keeping an eye on it ;) I've got a little thing now : i play guitar through compressor,go to mixer and add in the aux REV and DELAY. Sounds beautiful. The only way i managed to record it is through the MIX OUT of the mixer. But guess what? if i record in cubase, with the click on,it will rec...

Wow,the off topic zone is the most interesting of the boards.I'd read stuff here for days. BTW any TOOL fan here? I'm listening to "Reflection" from Lateralus (incredible work of art) and on this mystical track there are some scary synths that goes like "Eeewwww" or "Gnnaaww...

Re: How should you use creamware stuff?
Yep,of course the mixer was there :) this way i can both trigger synths from the keyboard and from the cubase piano roll ,and record the synth out in cubase too bad that my Luna 2 can open just a synth before overload :( http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/9250/routing.jpg Thanks everybody for the prec...
