SOLD: 2 x Pulsar 2's for sale with Flextor and various plugs

Hey everyone, I haven't been here in a while. I am selling my Pulsar 2 cards with Scope 5.1, Flextor, The set of 4 guitar amp simulations, COS and VOID synths (more effects and that like too). I am just not making music as much anymore and am switching to my acoustic guitar with a friend who has a b...

Connecting G5 optical out to Pulsar 2 SPDIF

Hey there!

Is it safe to connect the optical audio out of a G5 to the SPDIF input of a Pulsar 2 connected in a PC? Of course, I would use the correct adapters. Both computers are plugged into the same wall outlet but I am concerned about some going electrically bad...

Thanks!

Re: Starting over

Update: I got a xw4400 and everything is fine except for Scope 5 not wanting to start up. I saw that I will need a new key for it to work . Do I buy the upgrade to 5.1 directly or do I need to buy the complete package of Scope 5 and THEN the upgrade?

Re: My approach to harmony building

Hi Ken, I believe you have to give more consideration to counterpoint (in the sense each melodic lines play against each other) because if you just add lines one on top of the other you can get lost in a big wall of notes. Your approach is definitely a good one. Are you going to talk about how dynam...

Re: Starting over

Hi Gary,

What do you mean by a lot of big sample libraries? Something like Vienna Symphonic along side the orchestral stuff and the occasional Omnisphere? Huge piano stuff to accompany all that perhaps? Your answer will go a long way in helping me finalize my choice.

Thanks!

Starting over

Hi everyone! I am back after a long hiatus and I need your help getting back up and running with a new computer. First question is: What is the recommended MOBO right now? I looked at Asus but there are so many. 2. Which Intel chip set is the one to look at? 3. DDR2 or DDR3 RAM? 3. Windows 7 or 8? I...

Re: Registration transfer fee

A question just popped in my mind while reading the posts:
If a plugin is registered on 1 card but not the second, will it not access the DSP<s of the second card when needed?

So if I were to buy a 3rd card I wouldn't have to transfer the registration?

Re: My mother passed away yesterday

Thanks!

I thought I would post this ambiant tune as it sounds like a representation of what dying might sound like. With those angels' voices creeping through in the background near the end. Hear them?

Try to hear the resulting choir in the background during the fade out.

Enjoy!

Yes, The sync rate does appear in the Pulsar Samplerate window. I was getting a digital hiss from output 1 but now it's gone.

ADAT communication problem

Hi guys!

OK, I changed my graphic card but now I have a little problem with the ADAT communication from my Yamaha 01V. The Pulsars are slaved up to it but I get no audio signal through ADAT from the mixer. Can it be that the fibers responsible for audio transfer are damaged?

Thanks. :)
