Yes to your questions, beside:

the drivers in the luna/drivers and the pulsar/drivers directories are identical. so it appears to me, that the software has changed, but not the hardware drivers????
Am I wrong?

The cset.ini ARE identical in Pulsar and Luna, but still I only get 3 dsps. As I understand the cset.ini refers to the software-registration only (or where is the specific hardware-key???)

To your question: I find the luna2.5-software just more convenient.

Hello, I think this has been discussed earlier, but I cannot find it anywhere:

(PC) How do I get access to the Pulsar1-hardware (dsps) in the Luna 2.5-Software. The Pulsar-software appears to be registered, but not the hardware. So only 3 dsps and no Pulsar-I/Os are showing up in the Registry ...

just use the luna-devices (since luna automatically becomes card#1, the pulsar-devices don't appear anymore)
