What happened? Is there a link to a story or somesuch? I don't want to bore folks on this forum. I know Moogmusic had a very contentious disagreement with GC for a while and pulled all their gear out...I have no idea what that was about either... As much as I dislike GC, they are ubiquitous a...

Well Shayne, I think it will do really well! It sounds fantastic, Keyboard magazine gave it a glowing review and Sound On Sound just published a great review as well! I want them to do well. I'm one of the few people with any complaints whatsoever. Its too bad they can't get a big outl...

Oke, thanks for your warnings about the bugs in Minimax hardware.
Don't worry about it. I'm the only person annoyed by the issue. At this point I'm going to wait for a fix. The SOUND of this thing is still perfect!

You're reading a lot more into what I wrote than what is really there I think. I like your tone a little better this time, though ^_^ The minimax ASB is a polysynth even if the Minimoog was not  I wanted to use it as a polysynth. I can't currently. If someone else can, I say more power to the...

When it "IS" a Mini, its great! But I got it at least, in major part, to be a polysynth. I have two analog monosynths in my studio already, one a Prodigy... Right now, I have 10 instruments in my studio and I need what's there to be responsive to what I'm doing. The Minimax is frus...

Wow. Missed it entirely, astroman. I have no idea where you got that idea about my studio, it most certainly is a *working* studio. The reviews people were waiting for were on three other web forums and I had a "dedicated" page for my site in the works. Please check my music page if you th...

Turn off the damn effects! I have no idea what the synth really sounds like at this point. The poor thing is drowning

Seriously though, I keep the FX bypassed on my Minimax ASB - sounds fantastic! (Now if they would just fix the OS!)

Ok...thanks for the messages offlist - don't worry, I'm not writing off CW. I really do like the Minimax, I just want it fixed  I finally heard back from one of the Ralfs at CW, They think they know what's causing the bug(s) but won't have the manpower to fix the problem until after the curren...

I'm looking forward to hearing the new synth but I hope its not released until its finished...I'm not really enjoying being a beta-tester. I'm still waiting for the bugfix that will make my Minimax ASB useable in poly mode. Don't get me wrong, I respect Creamware a lot for the excellent job t...

Don't know, never tried it. Its just the voice-allocation/attack-truncation bug thats making me crazy. I'm holding off posting my reviews on Analogue Heaven, Harmony Central and my own site until CW fixes this. In the meantime, mono still works great and the sound of this beast is nothing short of f...
