in the delay mods (even if it has to be within the modular framework) can one send a control and do real-time rate changes, where they sweep or jump (depending on control input) and the delay rate changes ...

yes, very helpful...i'll have a look at SFP/STM 24, thanks...just wasn't sure how you routed (or if you could) back to your daw app, my EmuX setup came with WaveLAb lite so that's an option..i can also write direct to disc or organize files with my AW4416, i like the idea or flexability ...

here's another thought i had off the top of my head...what's the minimal cpu config i could get away with COMFORTABLY? i see used systems for a couple hundred bucks, i could route everything via lightpie as discussed, i just would have 2 cpu's doing the job=zero conflicts, i have a multi-port dsl ...

i'm still unsure about the dual boot thing. i have a second partition on my system drive, do i need to re-install windows and then mozilla/avg/ghost/etc, leaving my audio partition as is (app wise) and tuning it up? i know, for example, i should disable avg and turnoff the firewall, for example...or ...
