Re: 20th Anniversary on PlanetZ

Good to see they finally added a knob or two.
What about the mixer?
Any news what year they might get around to that?

Damn shame such high quality designs and sound, but no automations...
Until they break down and add MIDI I’m on the sideline.

Re: Strymon Volante Synth Demo

God News. Seeing your success caused me to investigate my rig and once I set the Routers outputs to default (software programming tool) everything worked great. One of the MIDI Solutions Router outputs had triggered SysEx strings for my old SE-1Xs that added delay to all data sent. I just gave up an...

Re: Strymon Volante Synth Demo

Wow, what a cool compact controller.
Can’t believe I’ve never seen that, and I use all of their Knob and Fader Cabs on my Physis K4.
Nice sticky rubber knobs and faders come in handy on sweaty stages where they still use those ancient 1000 watt PAR Lamps that make my scalp smoke.

Thanks Peter

Re: Strymon Volante Synth Demo

Yeah they’re way too pricey and thanks for the Reverb hook up. Never knew they made a keyless Controller. For a buck thirty four I think I’ll get one of those. Borg can you get your TL to loop in Time without missing a beat? I’m using mine as you described but it seems awkward, but it’s possibly bec...

Re: Strymon Volante Synth Demo

I guess I can always create another zone, and power the extra controller from one of the many Physis K4 USB Ports. Then MIDI to the Strymon using one of these customized controllers designed for certain tasks. BA452DD0-12C6-4EFF-9D26-0D8A659450B1.jpeg https://youtu.be/S6O0Io2BVRo https://www.indiego...

Re: Strymon Volante Synth Demo

I hate swapping but I can only use so many zones on my Physis K4. I need to check out the Looper and MSwitch. I assigned buttons on my K4 but was having difficulty too trying to get the same groove as guys in the video we’re getting. Yeah Tangent, the guy has other vids that he does where he just ja...

Strymon Volante Synth Demo

Love my Strymon Pedals but think I’m selling my Timeline to get a Volante. The Looping features plus the SHARC ADSP-21379 Chip allows for 300 presets that can already be Loops that you can play in reverse over the top of. Usually the demos are Guitar players but this cat always has lots of different...

Glad you like it.
The Transistor Organ sound reminded me of Steely Dans “Do It Again” without the the slap back.

Re: 20th Anniversary on PlanetZ

20 years ago I was using Gigastudio a B3/147 Leslie and a pair of Oberheims. The Matrix 12 w/ XPander was bad ass. Sold that gear and financed my Scope rigs for years to come. Thankfully Native VSTis started catching up. But still, no other protocol can touch Scope for Mixing with full real time aut...

Re: A16 Ultra VS 2496 IO Box

The A16 Ultra features 16 converters that are all synced to the same clock signal. You can set sensitivity and output level per channel. A balanced studio setup will deliver a better signal to noise ratio and prevent interference between devices. You may need to balance external devices by transfor...

Re: Share Your Vibrato Tricks

I can’t remember now but if I saw his name Id recognize it. Real unique Boutique Oscillators and Modulations. Another great Modulation Trick is using AUX #1 on any Scope Mixer. Connect to dNa FX Rack which works better as an external effect in the project window. Select the Modulation Effect, choose...

Re: Share Your Vibrato Tricks

I already use hardware live but I can’t use a set up without presets. Someday I’d like to invest in a Nice Euro Rack. Neutron from here has some incredible modules @ NAMM and other trade shows. He’s doing so good we haven’t seen him for a couple years now.... So what’s your favorite Modulation/ Vibr...

Share Your Vibrato Tricks

I’d do this in Scope using a Device or Modular Patch that sends multiple destinations from a single CC. In Omnisphere this is easy with a right click on anything you choose. Of course we like LFOs to modulate Oscillator Pitch. But take the same CC and assign to Unison Detune and then again in the FX...

Fantastic share.
I never heard this before and am listen to as many different artists as possible.

The first Robert Hood track shown, Grey Area, is just powerful and knowing it’s origins make it Ben better.

Re: Maybe Tomorrow [1 min BMS inc. #instajam]

Geist V1 was the biggest jump over Guru. There are still things I liked better about Guru in fact, but the effects section on it consumed a considerable amount of CPU. My understanding from fxpansion was that they optimized the dsp alg.s when porting everything to Geist, for which we can be thankfu...
