Babysitting Can Be Fun

Still in the process of using this live to replace Zebra2 HZ & Omnisphere. 2 x 4 Voice patches saved as a multi with C3 split point mostly. Sounds great too. Instead of having these little sub humans trying to get me to play with boring toys or watch silly shows, I teach to play and learn subtractiv...

All depending on who the audience will be.
Sometimes knowing that helps formulate ideas too.

Re: Roland's new Keytar the AX-EDGE, WOW. Impressive!

Cool stuff. Lab coats are a Roland trademark. There believe that people will associate the products with science. The V Piano video was truly hilarious. Scientists with note pads walking around acting scientific and shit. A Pianist performing inside of a glass isolation booth, being studied by the R...

CREAMWARE A16 ULTRA

Mint Condition. Only slight scratch by serial number in the pic below. Otherwise cleaner than a lean dick dog. Comes with Firewire and ADAT cables. Tested w/ Z-Link and ADAT to make sure all ins and outs worked. No crackles no noise just massive clean I/O. I would advise getting Pro LA Audio custom ...

Re: 1U PC Rack for Scope/PulsarII?

I actually have a brand new mobo in the box, ASRock Z97. It was a spare for my spare PC. I’m on Windows 10 Scope 7 now so my spares are great but will never use this motherboard. Try and find a new i7 4000 series CPU and maybe since your a live player I’ll give it to you for shipping costs and 20 bu...

Re: 1U PC Rack for Scope/PulsarII?

Id go with a 4U.
Plenty of those, they’re cheap, and an older Z97 from ASRock always works.
It’s the older Devils Canyon CPUs that are pricey.

Re: Micro ATX PCI expander

I've been using Riser Cards and Ribbons for years. Its how I have 1U PCs for Scope. Using micro ATX too. We don't need all of the excess slots and gunk on gaming boards. hello, i would be interested to give new life to my pulsarII card with a lot of synths purchased... is it possible to have more i...

Re: dug out an older piece

Very creative. Always seems to work that any too where things just happen and you discover you don’t have to have a high degree of difficulty in your music. My son is constantly playing very catchy tunes by kids with no formal training. Sometimes different sets of ears bring fresh ideas. Cool tunes ...

Strymon Pedals w/ MIDI

No need to brag about the sound quality of the Timeline and the Deco. But the control is phenomenal. Bucket Brigade Delays, Urs Major model, Tape Models, Analog, Digital, FM, etc. etc. Deco is a true Dual Analog Reel to Reel Tape Flange Pedal with Lush Chorus, etc. Run this in a feed back loop into ...

Re: dNa-EffectRack v3 version available!!!

Ray this device is really good. I got as far as a good pitch shifter and only fiddled with other fix. Grabbed the Delay, the Reverb, which is really good, the chorusing comes pre and post Reverb. I just started blending Delay (vintage 2) from AUX 3 into AUX 4 where the Reverb is. It’s real heavy whi...

Re: Live Project

I’m prepping it with pedals now. Bought a Radial Key Largo Mixer. HX-3, and Code 8 w/ Pedals get inserted in 2 x Stereo pairs. Then the SE-02 into Scope XITE-1 with ASIO x 32. XITE-1 Outs into another stereo channel on mixer. Radial mixer outs into Fireworx then RCF or QSC 8s depending on the gig. 1...

Re: Live Project

Actually the G stands for Guitar, the impedance is for guitar. K is for keyboard, like the Hammond XK5 so the impedance is set for higher line level. I love rotary Pedals, put that sucker on any synth and have fun. I’m running my CODE 8 into a mono input Strymon DECO, into a feedback loop insert of ...

Re: Live Project

Damn! You're like the Dark Knight of the gigging world. So I guess Lester was no match for Neo? I've got Lester-G. It's ok, had to really back off on the output level from the A16U. Didn't really consider the line/instr type of connections. Cheap organ rates a cheap pedal I guess. The Dexibell look...

Re: What Could Cause PCI Overflow

Well the XITE-1 and PC will still be used. The new SX7 Module isn’t ready for prime time. But new pedalboard (48 bucks) is great, as are the Strymon Pedals. If SpaceF convinces me his Integra 7 has great EPiano and acoustic instruments, the SX7 will be strings and Horn Sections, and Ill try again af...

Re: CMS-1

Found a hardware version of your B.B. Delay. Strymon Timeline. Goes on my Code 8 OD. Yours is great and was free, this was 499 but a really great MIDI Controlled Pedal that can be looped with the Deco for killer Dual Deck Tape Flange. So to get your sound in Hardware was 800 bucks for both Pedals. B...

Re: Bummer

C236 but I got real busy and sent to it the man to Finish the build. Using the good old H97 atm. Pretty sure PCI Overflow on all my builds is because I stopped using hardware FX and had too many Reverbs. I just decided I just need a good Splash on everything and ran out of I/Os. Main Outs from XITE-...
