FS: Scope Pro + A16U + Adern Flexor 1.5
Well, I got this a year ago and it was and is the best DAW system I've ever owned. However, my PC had some serious hardware problems and died - and we've got a newborn (4 days old) and daddy doesn't have time to use it to its fullest. Would love to sell this ASAP, it's already boxed up (since early ...

Is there another ScopeSDK/DP forum?
Hi, guys,
Just downloaded the SDK and remembered there had been some various discussion in this area of another SDK forum. I am not sure if this was run by CWA or by a 3rd party. Is there a list of SDK sites out there, or are they all defunct?

I don't know if Ralf handles the SDK stuff (except for key issues); I think Wolf Roth does that. Try contacting him at (I think): wr [at] creamware [dot] de. Shayne Ralf answered his email about it. And I've had printed and signed the docs in an envelope on my desk for 2 weeks now, but have not bee...

:o What a collection . Some of them sound really awesome, the others aren't sounding at all. Before I start posting a specific list, am I the only one who notices some of the patches don't seem to make any sound? (And I don't necessarily mean noodles here, some of them should be midi triggerable.) R...

Thanks! :) This is hopefully a device with a sound which we don't already have. It sounds amazing on electronic drums (been testing it mostly on the SPS-1). Try inserting another instance, then another into that for a real heavy but sweat sounding distortion/overdrive. Irrelevance, yes sharc helped...

Well for anything different than the biggest ULLI the internal delay time divider calculates it wrong. I have found a nice trick to have a instant BPM to ms calculator. I use a modular Tempo-delay with some freq dividers plug into it. The text -fields informs about the correct sync timing. I just c...

I use Numerology also, every once in a while. I guess it would be too processor intensive to generate the midi clock at a sample accurate level based on the project sample rate. Feh. whatever it is, I need to find some way to sync these delays. It's driving me up the wall. For electronic-only music ...

Hey, very interesting solution. I agree about the VRC being slow - it takes 1.5 measures for cubase to even respond as a slave. If this is the simplest solution though I'm pretty annoyed. It's an awful lot of work just to get a modular sequencer to run in time. And, since I'm not talking about Flexo...

Sounds like we have the same weird situation. I also just unchecked it in msconfig. Nice usable autostart for windows sounds and games... funny but annoying. For me it seemed the only way to stop this from happening was to edit the system startup under msconfig. I don't know why but it just seemed t...

So far I've got Cubase synced at 30fps via a VRC and a VDAT with a dummy tape sending MTC into the MIDI Sequencer Dest. Seems like kind of a bit of overhead to get a sync, and furthermore it appears that the INT clock on the CW devices is not actually synced to this speed either, or rather, the trut...

Cubase timing (midi clk, etc) revisited
Folks, Well after messing with the internal clock settings in, for example the Prodyssey for delay setting, I've come to the conclusion that setting it to something "pretty close" that sounds synced is unacceptable. At first, I was advised that it is a ULLI issue that on very small sample ...

I usually have this problem when scope opens a pop up (device not found), but as its not fully loaded, its not possible to bring it to the top of the desktop. Try to load your startup project like any other project... Perhaps this helps... Cheers, Jan I can't load a startup project, or any project,...

Also, the better your PSU the less the clicks will be from the DAC's on startup (learned this when I put a 460W in my scope box). The clicks aren't bad really. My PSU is alright, though if I add another scope card I'll be making sure to put in a more powerful one. Since I pulled everything else off...

to prevent Scope from auto-starting edit the file cset.ini in the sfp\app\bin directory change the entry DontRestart=0 (which means start automatically) to DontRestart=1 cheers, Tom Just got around to looking at this. not to ressurect a dead thread but...
the bitching and moaning about lack of creativity in this thread a) misses the point and b) belies clearly that you've never used an MMT-8.
