Re: Noah remote - OSX

Hi there, I just wanted to drop a quick note to confirm that I have recently migrated from PC to Mac OSX (Leopard). The NRS is working fine and I had no problem once I attached the Noah directly to a USB port of my iMac. (It was not recognized when attached to my USB hub). Some of my plug-ins are no...

Noah Remote on OSX - More success?

Hi there, I plan to move my studio to Mac (latest generation) later this year. As anybody had success running the Noah Remote Software on that platform (OSX - Leopard)? I plan to use the Noah as a normal synth via it's midi / audio connection. So I only need the USB connection to edit the Softsynths...

Hi there, and welcome to the somewhat exclusive Noah club. Don't worry too much. The sound palette you get with the Noah is fantastic. The less immediate ones like the Vecton, the Lightwave and espescially the 6-Strings are just as inspiring as the fantastic classics. It is not only that the sounds ...

100% Ody

I just completed a new track.
It can be found here:
http://www.AzureFeast.com/Music/Album06 ... ration.mp3

All sounds are generated by the (Noah Pr-)odyssey. Well not my voice actually... :P

The percussions are Ody sounds sampled and played back with the EXS24.

Enjoy...

Support at Creamware is excellent. Like always !!

I can answer my own question: Creamware (rb = Ralf) did solve my problem quickly, kindly and efficiently. They still DO have an excellent support and I whish them all the best for 2007 and beyond.

Marc.

PS: Yessss, more exciting Six-String expirements to come :)

Six String registration key problem

Hi there, i have been a very happy user of the Noah EX (Final Edition) for more than a year. Recently I have been discovering how good Six String is. But recently it stopped working. Saying that I needed an activation key. I don't seem to have an explicit key for this one, lathough it was part of th...

I found the time to do a quick try of the Vectron's Wave Create. Here is the step by step approach: - Prepare a sample (mono, short, normalized) - Select the Wave Create mode - Open the Wave extractor - Load the sample in the extractor. It should now appear in the Wave Extractor window. - Zoom into ...

Speaking of me, I could generate the "Noah Serial Number Specific" Prophet-5.oxe file on the Creamware website.

From there installation was no problem.

Did you try to use your own "my page" from the Creamware site ?

Yes, I remember useing the Wave Extractor herefore. I should redo it step by step to provide a short tutorial (Not sure when I would find the time though). I also think to remember that a few functions did not work (reliably). Maybe some basics to get right: use monophonic material, "pre-select...

Hi there, yes I remember being able to sample my voice (In Logic Audio) and using it as a wave source in the Vectron. It was a few months ago and I remember that the working seemed to bit a bit buggy and I maybe had a crash or two. But it worked and it didn't took me more than an hour or so to do it...

Yes, I was meaning a "motorized knob" or a solution like Clavia has implemented on the Nord Lead 3. Being able to "see" the settings for a preset when you select it.

Actually I would say it is more than the SCOPE technology. To developp the Noah Creamware had to port its software to a fully DSP based hardware capable of operating without a PC operating system to host it. The ASB boxes are nothing more... a direct extrapolation of the Noah but sacrifying the mult...

No, you are right it says Profit-5, while in the device list (and the oxe file name) it says Prophet 5... That said the polyphony is 2 (1 slot), 6 (2 slots), 9 (3 slots) & 12 (4 slots) respectively. Which, I think, is nice for all practical purpose. Marc. <font size=-1>[ This Message was edited ...

Yes, Profit-12 is now installed and working on my Noah. Except for a number of preset that are panned hard right by default, everything is working fine. Yet another fine synth to explore on the Noah !

Thanks to Creamware for finally unlocking this gem.

I just read the review of the PRO-12 in Sound-on-Sound. I think I am willing to pay the price for such a great synth on the Noah ! So who is going to give it a try first ? Marc.

This makes me raise the question... How good are the amp emulation in the effect section of the Noah? Any recommendation about how to use them on synth lead lines, guitars, arps... ?
