When your computer crashed you probably damaged some files, either try a system restore an asio file may have been damaged, or safer to just reinstall scope,and then cubase.I suspect that you think that asio4all will actually do something to help the situation unfortunately it won't.

Personally I got the upgrade from sx 3 straight to 4.1 and I don't have any problems, neither with scope 4.5 or the Tascam FW 1884, which already works on Vista. I think somebody to get it onto protools with the fxpansion wrapper in Xtc mode, but then as you said, a dummy would certainly find it difficult, I agree with you on the ease of use problem.I don't think venturing into the World of Scope is synonymous with the Mac mentality which is definitely Plug ...
