Re: Profit-5 Version needed from 26.10.2005

Hello Synclavier,

I think I still have the version of Profit you are looking for... I kept both, for the reason to have possibility to edit from the front panel.

write me a PM with your email address and I will send you the file...

I can remember that I had similar Problems with the 1.1 Version from the FTP Site compared to the CD Version...because the file format is no packed into one file, there was something mystic about the fact that the server couldn´t store spaces (-> "_"). I could be wrong...its long time ago...

Hi Michael,

NRS runs on my MacBook Core Duo / Leopard as it did on Tiger.

The only thing I noticed is that NRS sometimes shows the NOAH as "offline", but when I unplug/replug the USB cable (while the app is running) it works without a problem.

cheers,

Hello SonicCore folks,

care to comment on this?

It would be interesting to know, how big of an issue it could be to fix the editability from the front panel??

Thank you!

Cannot enter edit mode either on my NOAH Prophet 5 from the NOAH panel. ! pinmusica and HUROLURA: I also have the same issue. It is a litle bug in the latest build of Profit-5 for NOAH. An earlier build is editable from the front panel but doesn't accept MIDI-CC's... So you can choose :-/ I wrote R...

Dave smith has said all along that the analog part on the evolver was a prophet 5 voice. there is an article about the prophet 08 in the new keyboard magazine and dave says it sounds better than a prophet 5. I owned a prophet five i would like a modern version to sound fatter. it really is a bargai...

Actually it's probably the cheapest analog polysynth ever announced! First I was tempted by it, but the sound examples and the available info points out, that it will not really sound like a sequential synth. Rather like the analog section of the DSI evolver.... With a sound of a Pro-One or a Prophe...

Yes, kind of... There was no announcement, but the expansion boards were shown at the CME booth.

As far as I know, this has nothing to do with SonicCore but rather with InDSP!

Looks good!

From the photos it seems that they'll also continue to manufacture the ASBs... But the text says that they have acquired the rights to the _SCOPE_ technology.... Or maybe ASB is scope, too?

Antti @ SonicCore

Great to hear that Antti Huovilainen, the talented guy that brought to us the ASynth, Augur and Taurus VST instruments is now working for SonicCore. It also makes me a little proud that CW / SonicCore seemed to have taken my advice on this matter. This was a suggestion by me in December 2005! 8) See...

Arturia Jupiter-8V demo out now... I wonder why Arturia won't learn! Nice photo and a "uh-hum" sounding synth. As for me, I know why I chose CW. A Jupiter Model from CW would still be something that I would spend serious money on! Looking forward to Musikmesse to try out Solaris Hardware. ...
