Kybernaut, did you make these with a VS by your side ??
Unfortunately no, but I had recordings of preset sounds from someone who owns a Prophet VS. I also had a close look at a certain VST instrument

Back to Arturia...

They always tended to find someone that publically "endorsed" their products.

I wonder who is it this time??

BTW. Note that Vectron Player has no unison mode. So the patch "Feedback" will not sound the same as on the (full) Vectron. Other than that, there are a few features that are missing from Vectron that would be needed to make true 1:1 Prophet VS sounds: - multistage filter and amp envelopes...

So if this can be set by the synth designer, as Shayne White and John are pointing out, I'm really wondering why CW decided to implement it the way they did. It must be a rather concious decision as it has been done that way on all their VA devices. But why? It sounds unmusical and is not true to th...

Arturia announces a virtual Prophet-5/Prophet VS combo synth.

I think, that shouldn't irritate us CW users too much... With Vectron and Pro~12 we've got already pretty good tools in our hands.

CW synths behave very un-musical when patches using "noise" are played polyphonically. I mean those overlay/cancellation/phasing type of sound. I noticed this with Minimax, Pro~One, Profit-5, Prodyssey. I think, once again, the problem here is how CW approaches polyphony in it's VA devices...
