I would ban the involved people after a final warning. The final warning should friendly but ultimately ask all people interested in talking DAS plugins and/or company gossip to do that somewhere else. Personally, I'm pretty angry that postings about all this nonsense take so much space at PlanetZ! ...

I too have all devices installed but not the problems you describe...

Did you have the chance to speak with someone at Creamware about this issue?

Well... I'm sat here with my MkIII Oddy, and it sounds clean as a whistle... Theirs was obviously faulty! Unfortunately the folks that originally worked on this projekt are no longer at CW. So we will most probably get no comment about it, let alone a fix. I have the Noah version, it has the same i...

Not that it's bad as it is (except the awful aliasing on the Sync/Ringmod combination... Fix please!) Hhhm, speaking of which.... I remember the test review of the Scope version in German Keyboards mag where the testers mentioned exactly this issue. They compared the Prodyssey to a rev3 Odyssey tha...

I already do that, thanks. But this solves the problem only halfway.

BTW: How many of you Noah users have actually bought the Profit-5? I guess: not so many.

Strange that they removed editability from the Noah itself. Probably due to memory reasons? There is little space left in the flash with all devices loaded. I doubt this was a concious decision... I wrote Ralf about it and he promised to forward it to the development team. For me this is a very ann...

I suppose we'll see a new generation of ASBs:

The ASB Pro™

They will not only have MIDI over USB but even Audio!!! Imagine the possibilities! Alsmost as good as the good old Noah was...

Most probably this is no big deal because CW is (or will be) "only" a distributor for products made by InDSP.

Ooops,... I now understand what you meant and checked it out. The version I have also do not give access to edit functions through the NOAH front panel. I did not even pay attention to this point as I always you the BCR2000 to edit sounds. CheerZ hm, that's a pity. It cant' be so hard to fix..., ca...

Whats the current state of controling Profit-5 over MIDI continious controllers?

2. Question: Is there an OXE version of Profit-5 that can be used both from the front panel and over MIDI?

Thanks for any input!

Why is that? Is it too "exotic" for the mainstream musician? Would a Jupiter-8 ASB do better?? :)

the Jupiter emulation for VST sounds interesting.... but I wasn`t that impressed with their previous emulations.... they are good but not perfect. Yes, but nice screendesign: http://www.museresearch.com/kvr/i/b/jupiter8v.jpg Soundwise I don't expect too much, either. It's a pity that CW never did a...

It even works with intel mac since it is mostly relying on OSX's standard usb audio implementation. No processor specific code needed.

Thanks, I also thought about a replacement... The question is if the airflow of the new fan is sufficient for all thermal scenarios... A fan with 14 dB(A) noise level will not have the same cooling power than the original one.

There certainly is some truth in that image, though. Those engineers did a great job. Too bad that CW had to let them go...

thank you, interesting stuff!

I wonder what the consensus of the 1:1 comparison of the different P5's and the Creamware Pro~12 was.

We Germans always want it to be PRECISE :P

What do you think?
