There's no way you'll be able to link your pulsar and your 01v without the adat card.
I used to have a 01v with the adat card (wich is called MY8AT) to hook it up with my pulsar. This card has 2 toslink conectors (optical) while the AES/EBU one (while still digital) is electriclal.
