Re: Polyphonic aftertouch MIDI keyboard campaign on indiegog

It's great that they're bringing back PaT after all these years, and i support them, but if I was a keyboardist I'd rather check out the Haken.

The continuum is great for solos, but perhaps not ideal as a master keyboard.

Re: Polyphonic aftertouch MIDI keyboard campaign on indiegog

Yes I am. But I really want an 88 note version.
I realize that smaller keyboards are more popular for inddor use.
I would love to be the first outdoor guy with one.
I would easily pay 1 large for it.

I agree. I would also prefer 76-88 note version and the 61 note is really the minimum size I'm ...

A German company NDVR has started a crowdfunding campaign for high quality Polyphonic aftertouch USB MIDI master keyboard.

The keyboard uses optical proximity sensors for keys(velocity, poly aftertouch/key swing).

Re: wave source random glitches

Yes the windows sound test makes this random crackling sound. I'm pretty confident that this is a driver issue.
I already reported these issues to Sonic core during beta test, but no fixes were made to v5.1.2709-x64.

Re: wave source random glitches

Same problems here too.

I didn't experience these problems on Windows XP, when using wave or ASIO driver. Directsound driver sometimes had some glitches,
for example when playing some games  :D

The Scope 5.1 64bit ASIO driver performance could also be a little bit better.

I'm experiencing some random pops with the wave drivers. On XP 32bit the wave drivers worked fine.

I recommend you test your system with Prime95. http://www.mersenne.org/freesoft.htm
If you don't get any errors, you can be sure its stable.

For CPU temperature monitoring use Core temp. www.thecoolest.zerobrains.com/CoreTemp/

Thanks for the quick reply.

So when Scope mixer shows 0dB, Mackie shows +10dB.

Why is there a 10dB difference between Scope Home and A16Ultra?

A16Ultra Too loud output level?

My Mackie 1202 peak meter shows +10dB at unity gain, when A16Ultra is set to -10dBv(consumer level). When I set it to +4dBu, Mackie starts to clip.
When I use Scope Homes Unbalanced output mackie shows 0dB at unity gain. The high frequency responce is also louder on A16Ultra.

Is this normal ...
