I've actually decided that I don't know enough about the theory involved in this, so I might build it once I know more. In the meantime maybe someone else that fully understands the theory will build it. Hi Shroomz, as stated earlier, all the inspiration comes from the SOS magazine. Their january i...

Re: Crossfeed monitor emulator for headphones.

Music Manic wrote:Is there a device that will give crossfeed to the stereo master outs, that would emulate what monitors feed to our ears?

Would like this because I do most of my mixing on headphones.

Thanks
Perhaps my small modular patch will do the trick (see modular patches)

Using your headphones to prepare a mix.

I made this very very simple device inspired by an article in the recent Sound on Sound issue. There they introduced a tool (Crossfeed-eq) that simulates a regular monitoring environment by 'bouncing' some the left signal to the right and vice versa. I mimicked the thing in this cross-feed module. T...

Re: Best contoll surface for NOAH Minimax, PRO-12 or Prodyss

Just something I noticed from the discussion about using ASB to control Klangboxes. By setting MINIMAX ASB to locall off, one could remote control the Minimax Klangbox. The same could be done to control the NOAH plug-ins as the contol change tables seem to be hardly the same (I checked it quickly f...

I have noticed a number of good tips on getting the most out of Dynatube, the problem often being the large noise level. So what signal chain, signal processing modules (following guitar>pre-amp/DI>SCOPE A/D) is optimal?

Just to share some frustration and perhaps sollicit some Samaritan help. As of yesterday I have two Scope cards but no STDM cable to connect. According to the manual either Creamware or the dealer should supply them for free. Creamware just informed me that they stopped long ago, a dealer survey on ...

BTW: I connected my Behringer GX210 (nice amp for clean sounds, good speakers, but lousy on the effects and distortion). This combo has an insert loop. I run that through the DT's and it screams and rocks like never before.

No, no midi controls yet, very strange indeed and a major setback. CW promised us that we could 'screw around', if the specs say that there is midi control, they should fix it asap or instruct us how to install it.
