Re: PREVIOUS SCAM WARNING...NOT REALLY A SCAM..!!

Hi All,
probably some misunderstanding is happening.
I can only testify that I have actually bought a Scope 15 DSP card with 3 Adats from musictech,
brand new in the box never installed and still unwrapped.
I have also seen many other items in the same condition as we happen to live in the ...

Re: Upgrading to Scope v5.1 in a 3 card system

Many, many thanks Gary. Things are starting to make some sense again.

One last question (I hope): You said "...you'll only be able to use the v4 SDK..." and that the SDK and SFP are independent applications. Can I develop devices with SDK v4 compatible with Scope 5.1? What the new SDKs offer to ...

Re: Upgrading to Scope v5.1 in a 3 card system

Thanks for the help, Gary.

Let me see if I got it straight: a device's license key (e.g. a synth) does not depend only on the serial number of the card for which the device is licensed, but also on the version of the Scope platform that is running on the system? (at least, the keys for version 5 ...

Upgrading to Scope v5.1 in a 3 card system

Hi. Sorry if this question has been answered here many times but I could not find a clear answer and, if there is one in the S|C site, it's in Gree... I mean.... German :)

I have a machine with 3 cards (Pulsar+Luna+Scope) running Scope v4.5 and WinXP
I'll upgrade it and intend to use Win7/64 ...

It would be the second Zarg synth in my shopping list (Solaris first  )

But I'd still want a 1:1 emulation from CW, using the same modelling techniques they used in Minimax, Prodyssey and Profit5

Hey Jimmy, may I ask what Scope synth or synths burried your Xpander? I always saw that one as a kind of holly cow (IOW: my "dream" synth)

John, thanks for your comments. It's always nice to hear your oppinion

Just to illustrate my point: Minimax and Profit5 where first developed as (highly praised) Scope plugins (or devices, or whatever). In fact I believe that plugins like these are a BIG selling point for Scope boards ...

Agreed about the Wave innovative synth architecture; I have a microwave 2 synth and never understood the BIG differences between it and the Wave (at least to justify the Wave price), so I hope that a realistic emulation of it would also answer this question for me

But we are not exactly ...

Anyway it's nice to hear that CW is still developing new DSP synth algorithms and devices. With the changes that took place there (not so) recently I was afraid that they'll be only "repacking" old products for the time being.

Well, I have a big investment in Scope boards (Pulsar I, Luna II and Scope Professional) and I hope they release a version to run in the current boards. As the thing I like most in using CW stuff are the good quality of the vintage synth emulations it'll be a major disapointment if we could not run ...

Yeah? They said all that kind of stuff for the Scope version of Minimax (not to mention Noah). I don't think this is any different.

I'd like to hear an official word from CW about the differences between the plugins and the ASB units. If the ASB ...

Thanks

Do someone know FOR SURE if the hardware units sounds IDENTICAL to the Scope plugins? I mean, disregarding any differences due to D/A converters; my concern is about the DSP algorithms.

I've sent two emails to infinitevortex and no answer until now. Also tried JRR Shop but It'll not be possible to buy from them. I've found others that do not sell the 14 DSP cards.

Who else sells these cards in USA?

Thanks

Thanks fo the reply Tom. Hummm... I cannot dispense all the I/O connections that my Pulsar I have right now. I'll have to try and see what's happen. Also, as I said, I have some nice outboard gear to handle more complex effects (Lex PCM90, PCM80, TC Fireworx) and I think my main DSP usage will be ...

I have a system with Pulsar I and Luna II (7 DSPs). I'm planning to expand my system and I'm between Scope Project or Professional. Will 13 DSPs be enough for running a 48 channel stereo mixer to deal with my external effects and sound modules, plus some instances of Scope synths like Minimax ...
