Kwild, don't give up. I've had the same troubles (crackles an pops in asio) but I then read Arcadios "yoohoo" message and applyed the asio fixe (on the ftp server). Not a single click in audio now !
Works perfect.
I erased my 32 bits partition yesterday....

Re: SCOPE 5.1
Yeah, I usually don't bite on hoaxes, but Greg has been so convincing on his "32 bit scope on a 64 bit system" install story that I got thinking It could be right. And it was matching my agenda perfectly. At any rate, no news from developpers, false information spread across the board, an ...

Re: SCOPE 5.1
Thanks Micha, but I'd already tried that of course. Hum, Greg are you sure of what you're talking about... ?
Are you conscious that this solution would calm down lots of moaning about those 64 bit drivers long wait ?
Well.

Thanks Greg, although I'm not sure I understood your reply (32 bit partition + a 64 bit one). Since I have both, I'll try something tomorow... but

Re: SCOPE 5.1
Yes Siriusbliss, please explain your procedure. I'm installing a win7 64 bit on a ssd drive at the moment, and I'd like to try out the scope 32 bit on a 64 bit system as well. I got the same error message John got. I've searched for any workaround but there are none working. Did you just copy the fo...

Grappa : Yeah I know we're lucky. Good tools, a passion in life, being able to live from that etc... I'm delighted. Yes SC rocks in regards to still be working on a 10+ year platform. Even the reactions of impatience show the love people have for this very platform. We're all hanging around this pla...

Yep Katano, cs5 on two windows 64 bits machines here at the lab. The 3d guys made me a demo a few days ago. After effects cs5 smokes ! But yes, 64 bits only. I have the second machine running with two SC cards connected to the main Daw via adat. It is indeed a great solution... Problem is the main d...

Re: SCOPE 64 Bit beta..........?
... they get all the chicks ! @ Gary, Yes if they have to rewrite the whole shebang then it's clearly a huge demanding task. But we agree that 64 bits has to arrive at some point (whenever it arrives) don't we ?. It will add some value to Xite and the cards. And probably new customers as well....

Re: SCOPE 64 Bit beta..........?
It's funny how most people here are so conservative towards technology and protective as far as SC is concerned. What do you guys do on a technology forum if even asking and wondering about something as basic as a new driver starts all these "nowadays people are this or that" "what do...

Re: Omnisphere Users
Greg, about the Omnisphere sound, I've noticed as well that Omnisphere can be sonically overwhelming. But used in a sparse arrangement (music to picture, short commercials) it can do wonders without "EQ'ing" too much into it. And yes, lots (sometimes too much) of effects ! It's no modular,...

Re: Omnisphere Users
Thanks guys for the feedback on the SSD. Sounds like a great improvement indeed. I might go that road soon then. Just waiting for a good deal on larger capacity drives (at least 160 gig). ;-) Jimmy, I'm back in Marseille at the moment (already flew back twice to South America and went to Martinique ...

Re: Omnisphere Users
Hi Jimmy I had a little time to test on one of my DAWs : I7 @ 3.2ghz. 6gigs DDR3 @ 1333mhz. Scope card@4 ms latency,Windows 7 32 bits (thanks to no W7 64 bits drivers for scope). I can load two instances, playing one while changing programs on the second instance doesn't cut the sound. I've tried wi...

Re: Omnisphere Users
Omnisphere is a killer. I've dropped using any scope synths (for various reasons ie : portability of projects, working on my laptop...) and frankly, this things is better than modular ! The overall quality is fantastic. It doesn't need extra hardware either. Jimmy, I'm not surprised to find you on t...

Re: SCOPE 5.1
Jimmy, have you tried G-player yet ? http://www.soundlib.com/gplayer/
If not, you should !
A very good gigastudio replacement. 32/64bits windows 7 AND osx 10.6 compatible. V2/V3/V4 Gig file compatiblity.
Only draw back, it doesn't load giga performance files.
Be well,
Bifop

LOL, nothing ever change here. Same BS talking. Same americano blahblah vs the rest of the world. Oh my god, it's a bit sad, but entertaining. It's a pity most of the crowd here as given up on music. Too much politics and forum, not enough activities in the real world me thinks. So you have a choice...

Yes, all links and info are in this thread. Just plug a jumper and short the recommended pins. No need to remove the back plate. It DOES work if you carefully follow the different steps. On a modern machine, the cpu hit is barrely visible. Sorry to be quite "absent" from this thread but I'...
