Actually my knowledge in SFP is so limited that I know only the basic stuff... I have only 3 or 4 connections in a project, and it is mostly between the 'Analog in' to the mixer etc.
Thats a disgrace, I know... but to learn this heavy subject you need time, and normally I prefer to record my music ...

I dont know what is midi wise, but there is no phisical connection between the modul and the keyboard, they are both hooked to luna.

symbiote, I put the filter between the midi soucre to the sequenser dest.. it's ok that way?
the computer stucks ONLY when the midi soucre is connected to the ...

"Luna midi A source" is connected to the "sequenser midi dest1"- the source is a roland A-33 keyboard.
"sequenser midi source 1" is connected to "Luna midi A dest"- outputs midi into rolands XV50-50 modul.
that is all the midi I use..
And I have already tryed a filter, it didnt work.

OK, I have disabled the hyperthreading, and inserted a midi filter, and it still stucks.

hear this, it might help- when I play an audio instrument in logic, and playes alot of notes in one time(using my head and elbows) , and repeating this couple of time, in 10 seconds my computer stucks.

Hey... for 2 monthes now I've been trying to resolve my issue- my computer stucks when I work with my cw card.. I even replaced my M board. but still, it freezes.

there are no IRQ conflicts, I've replaced slots, I reinstalled SFP4, I tryed to install the old version's drivers.. nothing worked.

The hole problem had started when I used the onboard vid card.. so I think the performance wont be better.

I know that it was a very bad choice to have this mobo now... its just that I consulted pepole who did'nt knew enough about PCs for music....

at the boot procces there is a table that shows IRQ's. the multimedia device has it's one & only IRQ...

I have disabled all the onboard devices, and still it stucks. I even added a Geforce card that I had and used it instead of the onboarded one.

one thing I could'nt do in the bios, and might related to the problem is to disable the AGP onboard display adapter. I just could'nt find anything related ...

No conflicts with DSP creamware board.
there is alot of other conflicts though. but anyway the problem occurs just when I work with audio....
