v7 works the same in win11 as win10.
do you need win11? win10 won't just explode.
if you use the Scope computer for browsing the internet, in a few months you might need to be more careful, and win11 might be a good idea, but in a working studio environment, there is no advantage.

no, z-link is not the same as the balanced card.
there is no "pro plate". a Scope Professional card(which means "15 dsp") could have a balanced plate, an unbalanced plate, a z-link plate, or a 24 ADAT plate.
