I use free download manager with no adverts.:- http://www.freedownloadmanager.org/download.htm it has resume downloads as well. Although the standard windows download does seem to do resume on some downloads, which was unexpected. You can get TalkTalk Broadband for £10 a month with up to 8 Megabits...

I get that with Win98 after a while using lots of graphic resources in projects. Its because Win98 has limited GDI resources. WinXP has unlimited GDI resources and that should not happen.
