[workaround found] - Win 10 x64 BSOD System Service Exception ScopeXite.sys
Hello all,
I started to get BSOD in win 10 64 with an error message saying "SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION" an indicating that the issue is ScopeXite.sys.
This happens when I load standalone apps that use ASIO (not with the DAW, but for example Addictive Drums standalone, Amplitube standalone or ARC 3 ...

Re: no sound in wave source
Hi,
I finally managed to get it working :)
I defined the preferred bit depth to 24 bit and number of devices to 1 in the settings page of the device, then loaded the 24 bit wave source in the scope project, restarted the Windows Audio Endpoint Builder and voila
Thank you very much for your help ...

no sound in wave source
Hello,
I am having a weird issue.
I have no sound coming out from the wave source. ASIO works perfectly
I use Win 10 64 bit / Scope 7 (latest build) / XITE-1
Windows can see the device, considers it enabled, I can move the volume slider but nothing comes out.

Have u tried MASTER IT EQ LT2.zip from http://www.digitalaudiosoft.com/ => Support => User Area ? It works without COEF11
Yes that works. Thanks a lot. But it would be great to see that DAS COEF11 be fixed. Does Digital Audio Soft still exist?
But LEGEND still not working.

Re: Using Bidule to route audio from Daw to Scope and back to DAW
that sounds unnecessarily complicated.
what is the real advantage to this over Scope mode?
That I have all my workflow inside the sequencer with a heavy use of Mackie Control / Mackie C4, and that I use native plugins as much as scope plugins, and I mix using the audio engine of the DAW ...

Re: Using Bidule to route audio from Daw to Scope and back to DAW
Well,
i did some testing with Tracktion Waveform, and it has an "insert" plugin that is made for using external effects in the audio chain, and it does exactly that. I map it to the ASIO output that I want to send to, and the ASIO input that I want to use in the return path. It also has a latency ...

Using Bidule to route audio from Daw to Scope and back to DAW
Hi all,
I am trying to emulate the XTC mode in XITE and was wondering if I could use Bidule for this.
Basically I would like to insert Bidule as a VST plugin in each track, and then have it route the track audio to Scope through ASIO, do the processing for the track, send it back to ASIO, and in ...

scope V7 - installing 3rd party plugins - overwrite files?
Hello,
I installed scope 7 in a new PC with W10 64 bit. I noticed that several 3rd party plugins have .sys and .dsp files with names that match the names of standard scope 7 files.
I wonder if I should overwrite them, or don't overwrite them and keep the standard scope V7 files.
Any clues? (I ...

Re: That tight but bouncy bass!!??
sidechaining :)
you use the kick track level to control the compression/volume of the bass track.
Pushing it hard enough you can get that pumping/breathing kind of sound.
You'll have to play with the parameters to find what fits the best :)
here you can find some info about the technique.

Re: Is it worth to use scope boards with 96khz and kill 50%
I did test with profit 5. The first seconds is 96 the rest is 44 kHz. This is proof that 96 kHz sounds different even on synths that oversamples.
It's easy to try different patches and see how bitrate affects the sound as long as you don't have the daw connected.

Re: Presonus studio one DAW and Sonic core works good?
In the same line, there is Tracktion 7, which is a brilliant DAW and plays ball very nicely with the XITE. I have it working is SFP and XTC without issues (had some trouble getting XTC plugins working, but Gary and Tracktion guys helped me out nailing it).

it all dépends on what you do.
The whole 44.1/48/96 KHz has to do with the audible range and Nyquist frequency (sampling rate / 2).
The CDs are 44.1KHz because we cannot hear anything under 22KKHz, so they chose the smallest possible frequency allowing to sample and reconstruct signals up to that ...

Re: How could I get a bass sound like this ?
Hello,
I have a Warwick streamer, and I can definetly make it sound like that. Specially if I pass it through the SW dynatube plugin.
There is maybe a bit of overdrive. A nice trick is to duplicate the bass track, put a distortion plugin on one of them (G.O.S.T. Saw should be a killer), then mix ...
