I'm very disappointed from Steinberg: this release seems to be more a *.5 than a *.0 release. I own the 8.5 and what I need is not more features but a bug fix (for free, because I paid for a full version with some bugs). The only new feature I will miss now is the mixer undo. The rest is negligible....

Hi Garyb, thanks, I solved the PCI overload problem removing the 3DSP LunaII because I discovered an IRQ conflict... too many boards fitted in my PC: 2xUAD2 and 3xSonic|Core boards! Currently I'm having some troubles with PCI bandwidth (that before I hadn't... :roll: ), so I'm trying to analyse the whole chain and try to solve the issue. I'm just wondering, in the context, if removing some ASIO I/O (i.e. 18 instead of 32 I/O) can lighten the bandwidth usage and WHICH ASIO drive...

I use a lot of VST effects, then the choice is always between:
1) mix in Cubase 8.5 and lose Scope effects
2) mix in Scope losing VST effects (as I already told, using Scope FX as esternal gear is a little insane as inserts. Sends are stull ok)

This is THE power of UAD, IMO.
