If the upper and lower refer to a split keyboard, where do you plug them in? Has anyone ever used this thing? As far as I can tell, there both on MIDI 1. If I kept turning the knob on the programmer, would sound eventually just pop up? Let me know....

The MKS-80 has an "upper & lower" outputs which go directly into the mixer. I "assume" that the upper and lower refer to left and right speakers jacks. I have a Korg Triton LE and a Roland MKS-80 plus the MPG-80 programmer. I have the midi hooked up correctly but I cannot hear any of the sounds. The "midi message" light flashes on the MKS-80 when the keys are hit but no sound. I need to know what would be the default "basic" setup for the Roland ...
