I was a scope user since years and realy happy with it. Since i switched to a new Computer
it's not possible to install them again and finally i also needed more I/O's and i switched to a MADI solution

i was searching the inet to find any specification about the luna box
if the outs of the luna are ac or dc coubled ...
didnt find any info ( also the techsheed in the orginal box did not contain such info :)

i gave the es-1 yesterday a short try out ( not to orginal one ..a one channel ...

setup:
repaer drives midi loops in endless playback ...to avoid loop problems :)
-use scope in xtc mode ( 5.1 )
-2 luna z link 10 line in via asio to reaper with realinsert
-72 plugins ..dsp vom scope until full ...vinco sidechained by adern kick ( in xtc mode :)
-mix vst and scope dspe on ...

i wasnt here for a long time ..... still using my scope every day
but this video does actually inspire me to build my own asm-2 ..and i love it
i just added also yusynth vco vca 2 mixer and a midi interface for mono poly and multimode with 4cv and 4gates

This looks very interesting indeed. Maybe I'm just a modular noob, but what do you gain by having the minimax inside modular like this new module now makes possible? How is this different from just routing the signal from a Minimax outside modular into modular and then manipulate it in there ...

this is cool but just for information there exists a free ctrlr framework for only making panels and cc / sysex handling

if i remember right there are a special trick
try a 6db LP filter in between envelope out and vca in (at the control signal path)
this might help

from my point of view as i worked with the normal mode a alwayse used up to 8 midi sequencer source and destinations instead of one and using differend midi channels for synths

the only different was that instead of changing a midi channel i selected a midi destination inside the daw
i alwayse ...

there really aren't stability bugs.


what about xtc mode and controler automating ....
this woks fine with uad plugins and vst but not for scope plugins .. and its the most importend part of controlling pluginsfrom daw .... in reaper and with scope plugins this alwayse freezes my system
or did i ...

as i know xtc plugins and the the dlls are only for
1 audio + midi in / 2 audio out or
2 audio + midi in / 2 audio out plugins

but for midi tools u don't really need a dsp plugin ..try some native one

i tried almost all free and scope synths .. this was one of some hard day in my life to create all the dll's and xtc.ini files ... wah ... maybe i made some mistakes on renaming and i lost some synths but i think it will not work .....
