Re: CMS-1

wicked Seems a good idea. Install scopesync. Load plug in in scope. Hook up midi connection and send audio out to a mixer. In cubase Load one midi channel directed to the scope plug in. The vst plug in loaded up in an audio channel for control of csm-1 inside cubase that’s of higher resolution than ...

Re: Kron - CV modulator

Looks cool. What scope synths does this work with?

Will this work with my doepfer dark energy synths?

I’ve never worked with audio/cv modulation etc, so forgive my ignorance!

Re: OS Xbox360 PS3 PS4 MIDI Control V2 Is out!

@Liquid EDGE - this particular feature no, but other stuff make it MUCH more musically applicable now :) tons of fun now, try it, you have user area right? no promises - but we have some ideas for a further future version, i will keep your request in mind, not complicated. Yeah sure. I’ll get it th...

Re: OS Xbox360 PS3 PS4 MIDI Control V2 Is out!

Great. Look forward to trying out the update. I really like this program. Lot of fun using a game pad as a controller for midi. Hope you got the choice to flip the triggers between 0-127 and 127-0.

Have you tried assigning autogate to dsp#2 jopo?

Not touched the plug in yet. Will have a look as I have an Xite-1 like you.

Re: Merits of going 24bit/96khz?

Lot of food for thought. Thanks guys, And thanks for pointing me to the discussion on 96khz. I’ve just realised that the only thing I didn’t have set up at 24bit or above was the cubase recording project. The Asio is 24bit in and out for example. I’ve also noticed some sample libraries, say maschine...

Merits of going 24bit/96khz?

Hi. It’s about time I started working in 24bit. All my samples are 16bit/44.1khz and any audio I record is in 16bit/44.1khz. Never really thought of it as much of an issue as everything within scope and within cubase runs at 32bit float. Plus I don’t use a huge amount of audio. Anyhows, is it really...

Info on spectrum analysers and level meters etc.

The manual for G.O.S.T Analyzer is out of date (only explains its functions when the device was first released) Can someone please explain all of what it does? Is it correlation meters you can also see now? and what does x*y and x*x choices mean for these views? What inputs are being monitored for e...

Re: DSP assignment. How does it work? What are the best DSPs to use.

Hey. That’s helpful. Thanks. Yeah I think the loading of everything on dsp 8 had something to do with the startup project I already had (a stm2448 configuration which already favoured dsp 8) to build my new start up project with. After assigning to other DSPs and then saving it stuck to them 10, 8 e...

Re: DSP assignment. How does it work? What are the best DSPs to use.

Cheers dawman. I’ll try the trick of assigning to dsp 18 followed by clearing. The “how does it work” was aimed at spacef. As in. How does your modular mixer work with regards to dsp assignment. Sorry I’m not very clear sometimes. Just wondering about best practices. Or if I can just go ahead and as...

DSP assignment. How does it work? What are the best DSPs to use.

Finally got round to building a mixer for my XITE-1 last night. (Hoping to actually mix a tune with it this weekend) Anyhows! Once built, DSP 8 Seems to be mainly being used. (And when the % icon on the dsp load meters is selected DSP8 displays 100. (What does this mean? Is it now full?) It’s as if ...

Re: MPA: A whole new Chapter for SCOPE and you are invited

I’m more confused to be honest. Anyhows. With Xite and SDK one can make whatever they want Xite to be. Scope and Xite is basically any pro audio thing you want. It has all the ins and outs most would need as well. I’ve got the SDK, not learnt it yet though. But I got a feeling it’s a rather visual a...

Ah.

Or you saved the state of the faders as a preset on the device itself along with the scope project.

Anyhows, too much messing about me thinks.

Would be cool if SC did a cc121 of sorts for scope at some point.

Re: MPA: A whole new Chapter for SCOPE and you are invited

And about unnecessary new stuff!

Roland software 909 and 808.

It’s not new. Rebirth got it pretty much bang on 20 years ago.

So much in music tech just seems to be a regurgitation of what’s already happened.

Buy the same thing. Again and again and again and again and again. 🤯😁😀

Re: MPA: A whole new Chapter for SCOPE and you are invited

Yeah i absolutely love the platform. And I love SC for doing what they do. (Just sort out the remaining seq issues 😀) Shame about cakewalk. And yeah Cubase has its quirks. They all do. Any way it would be nice if SC and Xite can comfortably bridge with this new idea from frank. And I hope, that even...

Re: MPA: A whole new Chapter for SCOPE and you are invited

Ok makes more sense. So frank could do whatever he wants with further versions of scope. I believe bug fixing does create more revenue. More people buy the product! If something is known to be buggy outsiders will be put off! “No point buying anything new, as proven with history, they just release b...
