It would be great if my Pulsar could co-exist with the on-board AC97, but I guess that's impossible.
So has anyone ever tried running SKYPE thru a CW card ?

Does anyone run skype on a pulsar system?
The incoming audio is corrupt on my system(sounds like too low latencty problem).
I tried various settings both on Scope and Skype with no success.
Any ideas?

well, i never had this problem with 3.1c, and i installed 4.0 on a fresh systm, so i don't think there's any software conflict here...
I'll try changing my default project, maybe it'll help.

After boot up, Scope 4.0 always asks for the key file.
This never happened with 3.1c

I just installed the Synth n Sampler pack, but I can't find the MINIMAX within my devices (although it appears on the registry window).
Where is it hiding?

mmm... i got crackles in SoundForge while recording.. seems like latency is too low. What's your latency setting when you record ?

hey guys. I need some suggestions on how to recored my final mix. I'm runnnig Cubase SX under SFP (no XTC). Cubase output BUS1 is connected to a couple of mastering plugins in SFP and then goes out to my analog out.
How would you re-route the audio out so you could record the final mix and monitor ...

i believe bit-depth plays a much bigger role in audio quality than sample rate. In other words - if you use 44.1kHz / 24 bit (or 32 bit), you'll get superb quality.

one comment though...
in order to load a wav file you need to open the SFP file browser and then drag and drop the sample. "New mono" or "New stereo" is only used to create new samples from scratch.

can i just drop a wav file into the sts program slot, or do i have to create a sample patch (with the little piano icon next to it) ?

that's too bad... i prefer not to work in xtc mode.. guess i'll have to give up on the volkzsamlper. That also explains why i couldnt get it to work with SFP running...
