I was experimenting with the Minimax again (software), running it through a tube preamp - and man does it sound great. It's good to have these ASB boxes for those that don't want to deal with drifty, big and heavy minimoogs (me)...

I tried demos of the tassman stuff (ultimate analog and modular), and didn't like it at all. I thought a real voyager (the only analog keyboard I've played in real life) sounded infinitely better. Hmmm, they should definately improve on the percussion (esp. in the highest octave), and also make the sound a bit more versatile (being able to get a more hard and aggressive sound).
