Re: Room Pan

Great demo, Jimmie !! Well .. and also great that there's such a resonance here .. In this case I'll release it of course as soon as I have done a manual  is it possible to more slow down the speed, to get a very slow motion of the sound in the space The speed of the sound source movement can ...

Re: XITE-1 Mixer Loads

Wolfie's 16 and 32 won't load up yet, I fixed this issue and will release it after some final tests & adjustments. It'll be even a bit better since this way I was forced to do some optimisations for MackieControl Support. A big "HURRAY & THANK YOU COUNTLESS TIMES" goes to Jimmie w...

Thanks for the generous words, Jimmie.
It's still a work in progress .. kind of surround for stereo.
If anyone else is interested, tell me ..

Re: SCOPE XITE-1 is shipping!

Hi Jimmy, but his 16/32 Channel mixers ask for Registration keys, so I ain't messing with that. Do you remember, for which device it was asked for ? And could you be so kind and send me a screenshot of this registration dialog ? Or is it simply not working ? Thanks and a lot of fun with you unit :) ...

Re: 5.0 and stdm2448 and stdm4896

The 'M/C' is already partially implemented as you no doubt know (at least there's some basic interfacing modules available in the sdk). Wolf made new mixers with an implementation of it. Just stumbled over this thread :) fyi there is no M/C support at all in the SDK. The MackieControl support imple...

Re: SpEQtrum loading nag screen

Hi James,

simply resave the preset list(s) once the device is loaded. This should remove the alert.
Background is, that the presets were most probably created with a previous version, which didn't contain newly added parameters.

cheers,
Wolfgang

Re: Band EQ/Filter for monitoring

Hi James, For instance if I want all frequencies to be set to the octave of the note C etc I would type in the root frequency and all notches would be set to the harmonics of C. You can do this with SpEQtrum via building a filter cluster. As you may know, you can couple several nodes to build such a...

Re: XITE and 3rd party software

Hi,

my software license is bound to a person, not to hardware or software.
Practically this means you (but no one else) can use it on as many systems as needed/wanted.
So if you installed your personal register files correctly it works on any scope platform right away.

cheers,
Wolfgang

Mulitband compression isn't on my table yet.
It's not really an area, I'm interested in .. maybe if a nice extra idea pops up ;)

I suppose you are going to be getting an XITE-1 'eh?
Since a drunken lady recently crashed into my car (beside three hard disk crashes in a row on my scope system, but these aren't as expensive at least) I'm a little bit short on money right now .. so no, not in the next future ..

On this point how does it act in RMS mode? Technically the same way as it works, if you feed it in peak mode. It simply takes the rms values instead of peak values for the compression amount. In other words it conforms more to the way the human ear compresses. For example faster transients aren't t...

Presumably, yes. Wolf mentioned a while back on the forum that it isn't FFT based. correct, no transformation into time domain, pure frequency. Btw, you can ceck this by feeding noise into the analyzer in question -> fft shows a different curve than a spectrum based analyzer . Thanks for the kind p...
