Ummm, no press release put together yet - I'll have to do that before I leave for NAMM.
I just got this first response from a Solaris v2.0 user, and I was so happy to see it...and wanted to post it here:
Hi John! I just had to give you some compliments on your Solaris v2.0. Now that I've spent...

As Shayne has posted already (thanks, Shayne), the Solaris v2.0 has been released. Please visit the Zarg Music web site for more info. Basically, I thought I was done with designing my most flexible synth ever back when the Solaris was first introduced...but it's hard not to want to continually twea...

Decimator, I mean, you have to load in one of the Modular Templates from my RD Module series, which open up as Modular Windows. For current RD Module series owners, there are 4 distinct ModularWindow modules, called Templates, which they can use: modular-filters rd.mdl modular-fx rd.mdl modular-gate...

Hi, (Blatant plug mode ON) - Did you know you can use most of Adern's new Flexor modules in any of my semi-modular (tm) synths? Just load the appropriate Template for oscs, filters, or effects (sorry, at this time envelope modules are not supported), and then load the desired Flexor modules (be sure...

For all who are waiting for flexor - for the sound quality and added functions that I see/hear, it will be worth any waiting you must do! I don't know why the delay - I haven't even heard about an SFP 4.0 - but I really believe in Assaf's work...it's the best! As for Flexor or Modular in Noah - my u...

Hi Everyone! I just wanted to jump in here and clarify: the new Pro One and the former Wine Country version are not data compatible. (The preset lists are completely different).
I did do a number of preset 'conversions' from the old version for this new version, but regarding any custom-made pre...

Hi all, John Cooper just made me aware of this page of comments...and I was pleasantly surprised! Thanks to all of you who commented...I really do appreciate the 'positive vibes'. However, I also want to offer some words in Creamware's behalf regarding caleb's comments. The team there has been under...

Wow! I'm very honored by those nice words! I just keep hoping that people like the things I build, and that there's something in one of my products that inspires you in creative/musical ways. I know both Stephen and I design with that in mind (plus just making things that we want to play ourselves :...

Hi, Yes, the Solaris can use any Modular module (from series I, II, or III), and should also therefore be able to use the Flexor stuff (I'mm really looking forward to that!). The main thing to note is, in Solaris, the oscillator section has built-in Modular Windows, but the filters and envelopes onl...

Hi again, Just wanted to say, after posting last time, I quickly threw together 7 saw waves and set up some slight varied detunes for 6 of the 7...and it came darn close to that sound! I think there must be some Roland chorusing going on as well...but overall, it seemed fairly straightforward to get...

Hi, The Solaris also has the Unison voices and unison spread, as does the Prophet Plus...but I think there's some trick to the Roland Supersaw, I seem to remember hearing it was a lot simpler to create than we thought. I'd love to get the exact formula myself - I'll do some more research on it, then...

Hi, The Noah Pro One and the Pro One that I'm currently selling should sound the same...when I said more 'exact', it's in the details. One example - the real Pro One (hardware) has glide affecting the filter cutoff frequency. For me, here's the story: 1) I didn't check this 2) there wasn't any way t...

I'd like to make a comment regarding some assumptions for Noah: Noah does use the same SHARCs as the current Pulsar boards, however, the algorithms are going to be optimised, and so the polyphony results should be a bit better. On the other hand, because there is no host CPU involved, but rather one...
