well i think i did it! i disabled acpi, and disabled various ports like com1&2,lpt1&2 which i don't currently need. i rebooted and Powersampler moved to irq 9 (not sharing with anything else) i sure hope this fixes my problems and (wont have to continue this thread) thanks to all who contrib...

thanks all for your sympathy.. i might be able to get back on track.. i'm currently in the process of getting the card fixed, if not locally then being sent to germany.. it might cost me a bit.. according to my local creamware dealer, they won't take less than 150 euro, and that's not including ship...
