RAM? I would never have guessed such a thing.. I tried resetting my comp now, and i got new error messages, as well as the old ones (above^). Here are some jpg's of the new ones. :) Worth to mention, is that i for a few hours managed to get SFP started last night. But it only took a few hours til it...

I have switched the PSU off, but never took out the cord. Will try that! So 0001 means hardware related, i see, good to know. Now i at least have some clue... Imo, its either the mobo or the cards, and as said, both cards dying on me at the same time sounds a bit strange, as i havent had any electri...

I see. Its strange if both my cards went broken at the same time tho.
And actually, sometimes, SFP works. Not often, but after a few hunderds tries or so..

I have my doubts about my mobo, i wonder if it can cause this behaviour.

Gonna mail Ralf later on.. hopefully he have some clue bout this.

Update:
I took out the cards and cleaned the contacts- no difference.
I switched PCI slots- no difference.
I tried one card at a time, on different PCI slots- no difference.

This is out of my understanding now.

Error code 0001 when trying to start SFP

Does anyone know what code 0001 means? All of the sudden one day, i got this error when trying to start up SFP, wich means it wont start. When i try to re-install SFP, nothing happens after clicking the setup.exe. Rebooting doesnt make any change, reinstalling XP doesnt either. It all worked just fi...

Rythmic Atmos anyone?

Im just curious on what tips u guys could give me on creating rythmic atmos (preferable atonal). What tricks do u have up yer sleeve? I know its pretty easy importating a sample of any kind into Absynth, and then using the envelopes to travel between transients of that sample to create intere...

Un-assigning the preset file?

Is there a way for un-assigning the preset file to be loaded with a patch? Sometimes i use ready-made patches and edit them to my needs, and whenever opening the project, i get bugged about the preset list that doesnt work with the edited patch (of course). Sure, i can save a new preset file, but th...

Hi Valis. :)

Yes, thats a good advice. Ill see if i can find someone who can borrow me something like that.

On the other hand, as i said before, Logic works fine, and as i am doin most of my stuff on SCOPE anyway, i might not need anything else after all.

Worth to think about anyway..

Yes i know, but as u say yourself, this is a bit extreme.
I can however continue using Logic, but i would like a host that i can settle down in, and not having to worry about the future as much. Logic works fine atm, but i wonder for how long..

- v3 is my version of cubase.

Yes, ive done the whole port tests, emulated, timestamp etc. Makes not much of a difference for me however. Tried unticking the Lower Latency box, no difference. Tried with out PDC (as ive heard it may help), no difference. Reinstalled windows, and cubase, no difference. Bought a new GFX card (if u ...
