Re: One Year Later...

XITE Z-link + A16 Ultra works on Scope 7.0

What krizrox needs is to clock his system (through BNC if I recall correctly) from his A16. That option is bugged on scope 7.0.

Re: How do I overclock my i7-4790 ?

In my experience, the potential extra 10% CPU power you might get, is not really worth the risk/hastle/instability - Just saying :)

Re: Which scope synth is the closest to Yamaha DX7?

Hi Arcadios, I'm happy to hear that you could use the result. I learned a lot recreating the sound, even though it's not an exact replica! I do believe that the glossyness is part of the FM deal though. That is how it sounds. The DxCwm doesn't seem too DSP-hungry on my XITE here, but it might be dif...

Re: Which scope synth is the closest to Yamaha DX7?

OK - I tried to recreate one of the old DX7 EP sounds from my FS1R on the DxCwm. I didn't get all the way, but I believe the results shows that you can get there with the DxCwm.

EP4 is the end result of the experiment :)

I recommend Hexa Chorus on the sound ;)

Re: Which scope synth is the closest to Yamaha DX7?

The DX7 is not an analogue synth.

The DxCwm is able to produce the DX7 EP glossy sounds that you are after, but you will have to program them your self, since it doesn't come with any EP presets ;)

Re: Which scope synth is the closest to Yamaha DX7?

The old freebie is called FM4, it is to be found on this site, but there's a problem with the old links atm.

There is also CWM's free 6OP fm synth:

Re: Scope (XITE) won't launch, but...

Hmm.. I'm not sure I would trust that installation of Windows anymore. The next thing I would try would be a fresh install of windows to start to rule out things. If you have a different hdd/sdd, you could start trying with that in order to not delete your current installation on a hunch. I might al...

OK - Sounds like the project that you are trying to load is corrupted somehow. To my knowledge I'm afraid there is no solution for that.

Re: error messages

Looks like a connect fail between the pc and XITE - Try this first:

1. Take out the cable in both ends and reseat the cable. If this doesn't work, try another cable.
2. If the above doesn't help, try to reseat the pci-card in the pc.

If none of the above works, write here again :)

Re: Who wants to see famous Holger face ?

OK, I see. Holgers presence in that picture makes more sense to me now then. I guess one can still hope, that future Scope updates will benefit from development made for these new versions of Solaris.

Re: Who wants to see famous Holger face ?

Yeah, I know that SonicCore was involved with the development of Solaris, but I thought that the development on the Solaris was now "only" software updates?

Also, I couldn't resist a little blissful speculation about future updates for Scope :)

I have been thinking in the same lines of thoughts, if this is Solaris news, what is Holger actually doing in that picture? :)

Hi Miguel, Please stop shouting in here - People will feel more inclined to help you that way ;) Unfortunately there is no manual for Scope v7. The most recent manual is for Scope v5, which will do just fine, since there is no real difference in the functionality of Scope v7 and v5 - The manual for ...

Write to SonicCore's support mail.

Alternatively - If you have a backup of your old Scope installation, the key-file in that scope installation is all you need :)

I believe that Intel stopped producing Mobo's a few years back, otherwise it would be a safe bet.
