Hi Andre thanks - got it working briefly but seem to have screwed it up - have you got it going and if so could you explain your settings to me? I don't have a ASIO 2 32 dest btw - just ASIO 2 Dest - I presume that's ok? Also how would this affect Cubase - do you have to run in 24bit mode using thos...

Hmm, bit of a disappointment.
Oh well, thanks for your help.
Incidentally, I don't see why spdif shouldn't work in theory as Steinberg claim system link only uses 1 bit of one adat channel...?

System Link

Hi, has anybody got system link working? - I'm trying to link my main PC with Scope cards & Cubase to another one with RME Hammerfall HDSP9652 & V-stack via SPDIF, but just can't seem to get any network recognition.....nothing comes up in the 'device' window of the system link page, and Sync...

Hi,
I think you'd have to use ASIO drivers.....not a problem if using Wavelab on its own, but obviously not appropriate if you're running a sequencer at the same time.
How are you trying to use it?

Excellent, dude.....
no idea why it should crop up suddenly like that - did you change your midi interface or something?
I'm in UK, but next time I'm in Serbia I'll take you up on that beer!
Cheers

Well you really should get the latest download - a lot of midi problems were resolved in v3.1.1.944

Sadly I think some gear just doesn't sit well with Scope - I had the exact same problem with a Roland XP-80 - no matter what I did it'd never work with the Scope midi ins - I always had to use an alternative midi input......just one of Scope's idiosyncracies I suppose. Other gear I've got seems to w...

Using a midex 8 you should have 8 output ports accessible from Cubase - no need for Midi Ox with that level of spec - you can have every piece of hardware you've got on a seperate port all controlled from cubase. Obviously you still need the software midi ins into Scope if you want to trigger scope ...

Enable 'use system timestamp' in Devices/windows midi in Cubase. Also make sure you're not using any emulated midi ports [not an issue in latest vsn of SX 3]

I think the solution is much simpler.....
In Cubase/devices/windows midi, enable 'Use System Timestamp'

Thanks for that
Unfortunately the forum doesn't seem to be working - it won't let me register.
I just can't work out how to create a custom surface - or at least link GOs to the right controls....
can anyone help?

Hi everyone, Just to inform you, I have two tracks on the new Mozez album, both produced with Scope gear....'Take the Sun'(the song you hear on the front page of his website), and the title track, 'So Still'. Mozez is one of the singers with Zero7 - this is his 'solo' project and is now out on gener...
