I created a short demo dance track with a combination of a kick, an organ and a 'simple' mono sine for the bass section a couple of months ago. Listening to it right now.

When mixing it using my Alesis Prolinear 720 DSP (what a name ?) monitors everything sounded clean below 40Hz and around 250Hz ...

In any case it's my opinion that Creamware should focus on creating platform independent devices that can be connected to a computer using different types of interfaces. That way, I think it's easier to keep up with the changes in hardware. For high bandwidth requirements, a PCI-X card with some ...

Who is actually using CW 5v PCI cards in a Magma expansion chassis in a production enviroment? I would like to know their experience with using this setup.

Are the CW cards the only cards in an expansion chassis or are there other cards in the chassis as well? Maybe that could make a difference ...

I asked Magma tech support if the Creamware PCI cards were compatible with their expansion chassis:

"Thank you for using our E-Support for submitting your technical inquiry to us. In response, I would like to inform you that we have tested the 6 DSP Creamware Pulsar II 5v PCI card and the 15 DSP ...

I believe a Magma chassis with FireWire 800 connection could be done, but the available bandwidth is much lower than 32-bit/33MHz PCI. The 32-bit ...

The one's I've tested at the office are 1.2 GHz but don't boot Mac OS 9, they only run in classic mode.

My question is this: What's the fastest single processor PowerMac G4 available for Scope 4 under Mac OS 9 (not in classic mode)? I currently have a 933 MHz QuickSilver 2002 running both Mac OS 9 and Panther on separate partitions. I would like to get another Mac and use that one for Scope only.

Have you tried a vocoder such as the "Orange Vocoder" from PROSONIQ? Maybe you can use it to (partly) isolate the vocals without patching it through the synthesis section. It all depends of what you want to do with it after isolating it of course...
