Re: STS bad MIDI timing...
Wise words :) You're probably right, let's consider these audio tools as is. After all it's a part of their charm! For information, i've added a second Pulsar II to my setup but appart from the extended DSP ressources, I still can't achieve more than 35 voices on STS5K without having the async error...

Re: STS bad MIDI timing...
STS samplers are old fashionned and have their own limitations. I agree with that, no problem, but that's not the point. Regarding the dropped notes issue, I was just noticing that STS3000 and STS4000 behave differently with no clear reason. And it happens without using a DAW, inside Scope the probl...

Re: STS bad MIDI timing...
Thanks you for the piece of advice. It's true that, in the DSP-meter windows, async reaches quite high values with samplers whereas it remain low with synths or reverbs. Should I understand that the DSP bargraph is not the only load indicator? But what I dont clearly understand Is that some people m...

Re: STS bad MIDI timing...
Hi, 10 years later... I'm fiddling with STS samplers and AKAI CD-ROM Sound Libraries :D . My hardware is : 1 Pulsar II card, Scope V7, Win10 32bits, Z97 chipset (MSI Z97-G43), i5-4670 CPU, 8Gb RAM (3.4Gb usable), no "discrete" GPU). All samplers are working pretty well after replacing KGPa...

Scope backward compatibility
Hi!
I'm running on Scope v7.
Simple question : Is it possible to switch backward to Scope v5.1 with the same keys or should I have to find a licence ?
Thanks,

Re: Breakout cable schematic for Pulsar 2
Hi, Thank you so much for the link! Here is a picture of my I/O plate : https://ibb.co/HFLVzRR From the information in the related topic, that should be a classic I/O board, corresponding to the RCA/unbalanced breakout cable. The proper wiring should be this one : https://www.scopeusers.com/ScopeRis...

Breakout cable schematic for Pulsar 2
Hi, I've purchased a Pulsar II without the breakout cable for the 26 pins high density sub-D. I'm looking for builing my own one. I've found this : https://www.scopeusers.com/ScopeRise/issue_15/dsub_mst.htm It seems there are 2 possible breakout cables, one with balanced XLRs and one with unbalanced...
