Not sure what you mean with 'the atmosphere gives much more'. Could you please explain?

I was hinting at Anneli Drecker (Bel Canto a.o.). The vocal performance in your song reminded me strongly of her -- which is a rather big compliment!

Hmm... think I've found the cause. The problematic program indeed used up all the polyphony due to stacking sounds. It had over 300 keygroups, yet only 11 wav's...

I wonder whether I've stumbled upon an STS bug when loading sf2 programs. Or would the author of the program have meant it to be this ...

Thanks for trying to help guys, I appreciate it.

Herr Voigt: yes I can. Assigning two programs, one of which is the 'problem' program to the same midi channel proves that. The 'problem' program plays monophonically and the other one poly.

Tony: you are right and I am aware of that. The #voices (in ...

Newbie question: I have a sts program of a string instrument (converted from sf2). It plays monophonically, where I would like it to be polyphonic.

I am using the following (to my knowledge) relevant settings:

poly = 10
mutegroup = off (for all keygroups)
mono/legato = disabled

With these ...

Does the STS4000 have any 24db/octave filters?

The manual says it employs a (as in: one) 12db low-pass filter, whereas the CW's website states it has 14 different filter types.

I am confused, enlighten me please!

Cheers,

Ervilha.

Comparing prices adding a Luna II with Luna Analog Breakout box seems to be an alternative worth considering... Esp. with the current special offer for the combination including the Optimaster plugin.
