@garyb Thanks for explaining. It makes a lot more sense now.
@dante thanks for the link. It's something to keep in mind.

Re: Will XITE and old PCI cards work together?
I have one more related question.
Would running two XITEs on the same system result in more available DSPs on the same system (like the older cards) or would two XITEs be separate entities? Is it even possible to have multiple XITEs connected?

Re: Will XITE and old PCI cards work together?
Thanks for answering. I get the feeling you have had similar question like this before. because that is how Scope has been since the beginnings of Creamware almost 20 years ago. No offence but I don't see how that explains anything. because that is part of why Scope has never been cracked, which all...

Will XITE and old PCI cards work together?
So, if I buy an XITE-1 can I expect to make use of my old cards and their DSPs? How would I connect the XITE to the old cards? Is there a cable that goes from the PCIe card to the PCI cards? Will all my plugins still work? Do I have to get a new activation serial to make the XITE my main device? Wil...

Re: Creating a simple Sine with ADSR
Thanks that did the trick. I can see note input being processed https://i.imgur.com/Sh1YTZp.png And it responds to the pitch mod on my midi keyboard and the panel UI but not actual notes played from the midi keyboard. Unfortunately I can find anything that helps me in the SDK4 manuals that explains ...

Creating a simple Sine with ADSR
It seems I cannot get the gate to trigger the ADSR and I can't connect the frequency out from Pitch Modulator to Frequency in of Sine Oscillator
Do I need to put something in between those two connections?
Thanks

Re: Somewhat off topic. Did these guys copy the SC website?
@valis my guess is that somebody who had direct access to the site+database did a one-to-one copy and then modified it. that would explain why some remnants from the old site are still indexed by google but not necessarily linked to from within the site.

By doing a video search for JEROEN J. VERMEULEN who is quoted on the SC pages https://www.google.com/search?q=JEROEN+J.+VERMEULEN&client=safari&rls=en&source=lnms&tbm=vid&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiCzLONnq_hAhUSRBoKHToKBdkQ_AUIECgD&biw=1920&bih=992 https://startup-rheinland.de/...

Re: Would I need Modular IV to build devices with the SDK?
@faxinadu thanks for the tip. Your site did indeed come up a few times during my research so I have checked out most of your stuff. I'll probably play around with the standard atoms before I can evaluate it.
You have some nice youtube vids and thanks for those as well.

Re: Would I need Modular IV to build devices with the SDK?
Thanks for the reply. I get what you're saying. I'm a programmer by trade but know next to nothing about dsp and signal processing - and to be honest I probably would find it very dry and tedious. I'm not saying I think the SDK is bad or anything - just trying to evaluate wether it's actually worth ...

Re: Would I need Modular IV to build devices with the SDK?
@astroman thanks for clearing that up! I feel like some basic information about what I would be getting into is very hard to come by. Screen shots let alone videos are basically non-existent. As far as I can see there is also no documentation for the SDK v.7? I could probably be able to find my way ...

Re: Would I need Modular IV to build devices with the SDK?
@astroman thanks for the info. So with the SDK you build devices using modules (like in Modular IV) but that are specific to the SDK?

Re: Would I need Modular IV to build devices with the SDK?
@Spielraum thanks, that looks interesting.
@faxinadu if devices are not build with Modular modules then is there any info on how to build devices with the SDK? I have a hard time finding anything relevant.

Would I need Modular IV to build devices with the SDK?
Sorry if this is the wrong forum for the question. I find myself always using the same very simple modular setups and would like to wrap them up in a complete package with a UI. If I buy the SDK would I need to buy Modular IV too? Can modular devices even be wrapped into a custom device? Thanks for ...

Re: MIDI from DAW to Sequencer Out
Well, honestly I don't expect it to work at all, let alone running two cards combined. So far I've had the DSPs running at over 50% without problems but I'll try to push it a bit further to see the limits. In any case I just wanted to get a look at the state of the software before eventually buying ...

Re: MIDI from DAW to Sequencer Out
Thanks, that worked. The two other sound cards are the integrated motherboard one and an external roland quad capture usb. I'll need the micro phone inputs to record sounds for games every now and then so I have to keep it. The way the Pulsar cards are added doesn't allow me to use the extension cab...

Re: MIDI from DAW to Sequencer Out
Ok, I resolved it by reinstalling the drivers again and SCOPE Midi became visible in Ableton! Now I have both audio and midi working. Very nice. But I now have a new problem. All other audio stopped working. Both internal and external usb soundcard produce no sound and I have an error icon in the tr...
