Re: Pcie to PCI adapter
Looks like el chapo stuff.
Where does the power come to the pci ? I hardly believe that usbcable can handle the power of a scope card.
Well the pcie voltage transfers through the cable no? USB 3 can supply up to 5 volts but you might be right when it comes to wattage. How many watts does Scope ...

Re: Fastest processor Mobo for Scope
I guess you mean Scope boards as PCI cards, not the pcie cards of Xite.
In this thread are some boards within the posts.

Fastest processor Mobo for Scope
Which CPU is the fastest that Scope boards can use. I want an updated unit that can deal with a lot of plugins and processing but would like the Scope converters for mixing.
Thanks
Thanks

BC Modular Sync/Async
Hi guys
Could someone explain how to use the sync modules in BC Modular?
I want to us them for a stereo audio file or number of them and I believe Sync is used to keep things like audio in time.
Is there an in depth explanation of the modules?
Thanks

everything in one folder has pros and cons, hence my recommendation

Re: StaticPath |Re: Drop-down menus
Scope XITE\App\Bin\cset.ini

[StaticPath]
Modular=C:\Programme\SCOPE XITE/Modular Modules/
(path example to your modules)
the path can disappeared after a few installations, then create it again manually.

Drop-down menus
Hi
Is it possible to get modules all in one place from the drop down menus? If I add 3rd party modules to the main modular folder it doesn’t see them when I load a modular shell.
For instance could I have modules from modular I,II,III and IV plus Flexor available in the modular shell drop-down ...

This.valis wrote: Mon Nov 07, 2022 5:54 pm I will also add that the way people are wanting to use "pan" on a "stereo channel" or a source that begins as stereo, try using a plugin that gives you control via Mid/Side (M/S) and I think you'll get the effect you want.

Re: STM Mixer Stereo vs Mono
t's not so much that stereo files are bad, it's that panning is already done in a stereo file, probably the needed ambience to hear a stereo field is also already done in a stereo file. so, stereo files should be special effect files, like a whole drum kit or a solo piano, if the piano isn't part ...

This is my exact point and what I’ve just found out for myself. Thanks for the confirmationgaryb wrote: Sun Nov 06, 2022 2:48 pm
i know what panning does to a stereo field when mixing a lot of stereo files, it creates shit. that was an early lesson that nobody wants me to speak of.

Re: STM Mixer Stereo vs Mono
there is reason for this. it's about music which before the present digital era was made by real people using real things. that's what ultimately excites the ears. the music, not the technicalities. of course, technicalities are important. but something that sounds cool to the ear always trumps ...

Re: STM Mixer Stereo vs Mono
I think my point is that 'panning' implies a stereo bus, even if the source is a mono channel/signal.
I've followed this thread and it's still unclear how/where the sum is being done as a mono (master bus) chain.
when the source is mono and the signal is sent to a stereo bus, if the pan is ...

Re: STM Mixer Stereo vs Mono
Hi guys
I've just tested a few things and it's not a phase problem. It's the architecture of how mixers are built. the Ableton mixer shows the same problem.
If you phase one side of a stereo channel. Scope mixers or DAW ones it shows that there is just a 180 degree correlation between Left and ...

Re: STM Mixer Stereo vs Mono
Ok I’ll try with assigning some devices to DSP in the SDK.
Do you just assign the DSP and save the device or is there anything else I need to do?
Thanks again

Re: STM Mixer Stereo vs Mono
if you assign a dsp id on the module attributes and save the device it should work.
if a device is protected from editing in the sdk though the module attributes shouldn't be accessible. If I remember well
in this case perhaps you can fold a device and assign the dsp for the container module.
I ...

Re: STM Mixer Stereo vs Mono
I didn’t think DSP assignment would affect a single channel’s phase fra77x2. I will try it though
Do you know how to lock devices using the SDK so that they will be locked when I use them? I’d appreciate it.

OK I'm a little confused. I think I may have asked this before but how does the Stereo channel behave relative to audio?
