I did it, and there is no sign of any broken contact or anything like this. I think Gary is right, the problem seems to be in one of the capacitor.
Have you checked capacitors with multimeter?

I use to get that. I think the cards aren’t seated properly and also the STDM cable needs to be pushed down properly.
Take all the cards out and put them back in again.

Pcie x1 video card

Hi guys Would using a PCIe x1 video card interfere with a 3 PCI setup on my Intel DP35DP Mobo? Could I use it with a PCIe x16 video card also to have more monitors? Would it create any performance problems? Also would a PCIe to A SATA III adapter speed up read and writes on the Intel DP35DP? Thanks

Re: Device placement in Scope project

t_tangent I've just played around with it and it seems the Screen Sets make it jump to that awkward position. If I open the main master mixer channel and close it it will open in that position when I double click the mixer device. When I use a screenset and do it it opens in the original position. I...

Re: Device placement in Scope project

I’ll try and resave the project and see but maybe it’s to do with the monitor’s resolution.

It’s the STM mixer. Even on a fresh project the master panel doesn’t appear unless I close and open the panel from the mixer channel option.

I’m on windows 7 and using the latest Scope version.

Device placement in Scope project

Hi guys Is there a way of getting a device to sit in a certain position when a project is saved? When i open a saved project and try to open the mixer's main output channel it doesn't show up or is to the far right of the project where I have to scroll to make it appear. When I also take a snapshot ...

Re: True panned

yesterday specifically I was doing comping / (mixing and mastering ALL in SCOPE) of a pianist. She had recorded the piano with 2 mics directly to piano chords... At the end of the mix I found that L (Low notes mic) and R(high notes mic) was very WIDE in image... More stereophonic than the normal of...

It’s fine, my DAW does it but I was trying to achieve it in Scope. I will try mono methods and Dualizer over weekend.

garyb wrote: Fri Nov 09, 2018 2:22 pm what is the purpose of a stereo file, if you plan to pan it?
Well you can have a stereo file with 2 bongos or a mono guitar with stereo reverb.
Panning the whole signal is different to stereo balance.

Re: True panned

to be honest... I don't get the the term.... what is true?.. since stereo has to do with the illusion of positioning of the instruments, wjich has to do with the volume of them and the left or right speaker..... Well if you have a stereo file with different info in each channel you will lose one of...

True panned

I’ve noticed that panning in the STM mixer is actually a stereo balance control rather than true panning
Is there a device in the Scope environment that allows true panning?

Thanks.

You can also get the card fixed. Most people say it’s usually the capacitors that need changing.
