I insert a Max patch between the MIDI keyboard and the sampler/synthesizer.

The synthesizer/sampler has to be be multitimbral.

I think it was for the Digi001. One of my friends tried to installit into a beige G3 but nver managed it to work. So he had to change for a G4.

Have you used any of the STS samplers on this card? How did it work?

That's what I thought : they sticked to the Akai choice in this field. It means you can build any 12-tones scale but it's impossible to build macro- or microtonal scales.

I plan to install a PowerSampler card on a beige G3/333 MHz Macintosh.

I would like to know if this kind of configuration will offer a good reliability and enough voices, especially if I record the sound in Logic Audio.

I'm also interested to know about successful G3 configurations with Luna (I/II ...

Has anyone expererienced such a configuration?

I plan to get either a Luna II with the STS-5000 or a PowerSampler II card.

Will it run OK on a G3/333 beige G3?
