Re: KrOn - CV/DSP modulator

That's an impressive argument for Scope, and Scope modular in general. I would think that the current trend toward modular would bring more people to Scope, but it may be rare and difficult for total newcomers to find out about it. I dabble a little in physical modular, and the few people I've run a...

Re: Just went crazy and bough scope 7 and the sdk

Valis, it's a mess, but it's everything I've managed to scrape together about/for SDK so it would be a good idea.
Along those lines, I should have a pretty comprehensive and organized collection of free plugins ready in a few weeks, I'll let you know when it's ready.

Re: Just went crazy and bough scope 7 and the sdk

Good for you. SDK is very challenging, I've found it useful primarily for saving devices with midi assignments. It's also hard to find information and resources. Here's an ~1GB folder of SDK stuff that is not very well organized but should be helpful. The unlocked versions of the DerKnott devices ar...

Re: 10 bit midi in scope?

Nothing in Scope or Modular that I am aware of. Spielraum would be the developer I would talk to to make such a thing.
There is a good general tool outside of Scope. Mapping parameters is no fun, but you should only have to do it once.

Re: Weird device surfaces

Reorganizing my files clutter, I found this little gem from the distant past.
I don't think it ever became an available product. What was it supposed to do? Only Simon knows.
I like to imagine some kind of crackly lo-fi Shepard/Risset vortex effect.

Re: Where to find specific plugins

BBDelay Pitch Shift by Roy? You can find that here http://www.cwmodular.org/

DAS site is long gone, but Griesverb is still available within the DAS Reverb Bundle you can purchase through SonicCore.

How and when is all of this available? I like and use all of the modules available, but these previews are getting me all restless.

Re: One Year Later...

Everyone else on Scope 7 is cashing in on the dubstep black metal craze, sorry you missed that memo. You'll have to find the secret studio in Cancun, the password for the doorman is "swordfish". Holger says 7.1 will sync via some kind of quantum iridium master clock from deep in a vault in Geneva, b...

Great question. Talk to Mehdi at SpaceF. I have related needs and can contribute ideas, testing, and money in this direction.

Gary and others, I should weigh in here. Outside of the project window I'm a scientist, a molecular biologist with a focus on several things, but particularly viral genomics. I also have significant background in anatomy and physiology, biochemistry, immunology and serology, and cellular signaling. ...

Looking for DAS/DASGOST linear crossover files

Hello Scopers, DAS had a freebie for ConvolveQ owners, a linear crossover, that was a download on the DAS site. Alas, it appears that the DAS site is gone, and I can't find the files anywhere. If you have the files I would be very grateful to get some copies from you. Alternatively, if anyone knows ...

USB to PCIe external for Xite?

Hey Scopers, Looking to upgrade and slim down my physical setup. I'd like to use a Microsoft Surface Studio 2 with Xite. Alas, no open PCIe slot in the minimalist computer. Has anyone had success using a PCIe card externally over USB? Is it an insane idea? Is there another way this could work? Hit m...

Re: MODULES #Spielraum

At least Bavarian is easier to speak than proper Deutsch. All eleven ways to say "the" are simply reduced to "duh". Not that it matters, because the dialekt is an incomprehensible mumble. Not that I have room to talk (literally) because I speak Swabisch with an atrocious American accent. I hope Holg...

Re: Weird device surfaces

I think there are a few more weird odds and ends, but I think this thread has pretty much done what I set out to do. Thanks for the help and the many kind words. Thinking of starting another thread that's about things that are found only in Scope and nowhere else, Wolf's LochNess is a good example. ...

Re: Weird device surfaces

Dan, I know the feels. Sometimes with the Derknott stuff there is also the thrill of the hunt. I've been sorting through a bunch of files from somewhere, and that image and file had similar names... In any case, If I figure it out I will correct things, but in the meantime here is every piece of J9K...
