CC2x2 - spacef-devices
=================

CC2x2 allows to send several Midi CC messages using a single controller input (or audio signal) with bidirectional lag times, min and max values for each outputted CC, curves etc.
It allows to crossfade parameters or to "morph" up to 4 parameters thanks to 1 input controller (example, expression pedal, modulation wheel, etc ).

Installation:
=======

- Extract in any directory of your choice inside your "Devices" folder
- Suggested location, "tools" or "SpaceF Mixers"

New in CCx2:
===========
CC2x2 is a little bit more than 2 CC2 in a single device;
-- It has bidirectional lag time (different transition times for Up and Down movements)
-- Each CC output has a "max" value now: when used in cunjunction with the "Offset" parameter, it allows to set precise ranges of parameters with min/max values.
-- In CC2x2, you have two "groups" of control (group 1, and group 2): you can link group 2 source to group 1 source by selecting the appropriate source in the displays (click-n-drag the display), allowing to send 4 parameters with fader 1. In that case, the Lag Time of the 2nd group is *not* linked (it is still available independantly for the 2nd group).
-- Maximum lag time is now 3600ms. If you experiment UI slow downs that become disturbing, reduce the lag time to 3000ms or less.

nb: when a particular CC Curve is reversed, the offset controls the max value, while the max controls the minimum value.

In use:
====
- Connect a midi source to send your controller midi message to CC2x2 white faders
- Connect the CC2x2 to the midi input of a device or of a midi merger that goes to a device.
- Assign, on the destination device, the same values as in the "CC Num Output": in CC2x2 make sure that only one CC is on and that the Curve of all the others are "off": this is like soloing this Midi CC, and it is easier to assign it to another device. Move the white fader of the group to send CC and assign it immediately to the device.

- You should save a Midi Control Preset of the destination device with a clear name: when you have several, you can browse in them to assign the same CCs to other controls.
